Let's sea. How many major fleets? Japan, Germany, England, USA, Italy, France, Soviet Union.... did I miss one? No? Seven then? Seven fleets... and seven armies.... hm... I think I just found the Morgana anthem: For the anglophones (mostly the "Common"wealth): For the french (en anglais, excusez-moi) Why Italy, why? The glorious russian version! The japanese get one as well... And for the lack of a german version you get this perfect spanish cover up. Actual spanish versions (yes, more than one....) Also glorious polish version. Well.... kinda! (If it's Jack White, he must be a pole. No questions!) Look! Gdynia!!! And here's, last but not least, the appropiate US/Morgana 1939 edition.... love it! I know you will. This it what "they" sing.... the Nixensong.

Well, that doesn't mean they can't have an interesting/funny interaction. Another thing to consider. That I can remember, we still haven't had any of these pairs have both belles being from the same nation, and Spain just happens to be the only nation that has EXACTLY two confirmed belles due to the Kickstarter's circumstances. And I have other reasons too...(?) *mysterious*

I thought this would be a fun topic since we all love naval things...and Victory Belles. It's usually obvious to choose World War II since there is a rich variety of ships...and there were many epic battles fought in that era. However, do you guys think other eras could get the Victory Belles treatment? I can go first. Age of Sail / Napoleonic Wars - Lots of naval battles were fought during this period, whether it be against pirates or enemy armadas. There are even some famous ships that people could latch onto...like HMS Victory and USS Constitution. Like World War II, there are a rich variety of Belles that could be created from all the different navies that were active during the era...including famous pirate vessels like Queen Anne's Revenge. World War I - There weren't many naval battles fought during this era (except maybe for Jutland), but there are a lot of ships that people could choose. There are also a few famous ships during this era, including HMS Iron Duke and Emden. Cold War (60s to 70s) - Since the Cold War spanned a long stretch of time, I thought the 60s and 70s might be the best for a Victory Belles treatment because that's when two big events happened - the Cuban Missile Crisis and the Vietnam War. There are also a few WW2 ships that are around during this time since they participated in the Vietnam War. This is a bit off-beat since no big naval conflict happened during this era, but I think the Cold War could have some possibility with all the NATO vs Warsaw Pact navies fighting it out (or fighting against the Morganas together). Do you think it's feasible to do other eras? Do you have other eras that might be suited for the Victory Belles treatment? It's just a fun exercise in brainstorming...while we wait for Victory Belles to get started. Thanks!

Maybe Morganas could have zombie pirate crews...or spectral ghosts a la Pirates of the Caribbean. The Belles have their own human crews, so they could be enhanced or reinforced by the Belle. If anything, it would be like the game Dynasty Warrior with the Belles acting as the hero / officer units.

The Academagia setting would also work for such a game with the Flying Isle only connected via flying ships mostly made out of a special wood that is lighter then air and driven by sails or some by steam engines.

Oh, you misunderstood (due to my lack of explanation lol). I meant all stats that weren't 'type' stats (athletics, wits, charm, and knowledge). You can't get 100 of all type stats in one playthrough. I always raise everything under them to 100 though (aside from animal handling, riding, poker and stress things), as well as all relationship and dream stats. Sorry for the confusion; I assumed people would know I didn't mean type stats. As for how I raise them all that fast, I guess it boils down to I can get through capers really efficiently since I've done them a lot, and then I have like...15+ days per location to just raise stats. Also, a tip for raising dream stats, raise them A LOT right before Christmas since if you're going on a romance route, your dream drops to 0. Admittedly, I very seldom re-roll inspiration draws, so Poker could work to my advantage XD. I could see the early stress strategy working for romance. Though, it could easily backfire. To raise stress skills, having stress helps, and usually if you have a lot of stress, you won't pass all obstacles in challenges. The early capers are easy '70+ skill point inspiration card' getters, and once you start the dream route and your dream hits 0, Peru capers can be difficult without many '70+ skill point inspiration cards', which you might not have if you have high stress. There are a whole lot of 'ifs' in there, but I can see it being a problem unless managed really well. Also, another thing I tend to do is leave some capers in New York unfinished. That way, I can go back later and finish them whenever I need the '70+ skill point inspiration cards'.

yeah poland may not have to worry about the Morganas so much for them to get at poland they have to get past the german norway and sweden navys. while poland will want to breakout into the atlantic so does the soviet fleet in saint petersburg so poland at sea at least can play a waiting game and use thier belles on land instead, In fact poland could be why the league of nations treaty came about.

OOOOH~ I didn't notice there was a tips thread on here due to its age. Well, I posted this on tumblr a few weeks ago, but I'll post it here too: · Play the game on easy mode unless you’re going after the normal and hard difficulty achievements. Save yourself the pain · Sterling’s route is by far the hardest, so I recommend not playing his route first. Relationships and Endings · You have to have at least 30 relationship points with a guy by Christmas to be able to activate his Dream route · You don’t start going out with Nigel or Sterling until after Christmas · Don’t worry if Felix’s dream route doesn’t feel like a dream route, it’s intentional · The 0-9, 10-19, and 20-29 relationship endings cannot be viewed in-game due to needing 30 relationship points to activate the friendship event during Christmas · There are actually 121 endings · The 100 dream endings are drastically different from the others · Approximately, the 0-50ish endings are similar and the 51-99 endings are similar Skills You Should Ignore · Poker is never used. EVER. Just ignore it unless you’re going after achievements · Riding is only used three times, two of which you can use Animal Handling instead. Just ignore it unless you’re going after achievements · Animal handling is only used seven times (which sounds like a lot, but it isn’t), and most of those you can use another skill. Just ignore it unless you’re going after achievements · Since you want your stress to be 0 almost constantly, ignore raising the stress skills and instead use inspiration cards for obstacles where stress skills are the only option Skills You Should Raise · Raise perception, deduction, and problem solving early on in the game. The best way to do this is to choose ‘Look out over the City’ in New York as it raises perception and deduction. There isn’t a good way to raise problem solving in New York until after you beat The Serpent Empire Adventure, which unlocks ‘Search for Other Raeks Artifacts’, which raises problem solving and occult lore Stress · ALWAYS start your caper with 0 stress. Always continue capers with 0 stress. Stress impacts obstacle skills drastically, especially on higher difficulty modes. · For example, if the easy obstacle should need 10 to pass it, but you have 2 stress going in, now it will take 11 to pass it. On normal mode, if it took 25 to pass it, but you have 2 stress going in, it will instead take 27. On hard mode, if it took 60 to pass it, but you have 2 stress going in, it will instead take 63. · Since you want your stress to be 0 almost constantly, ignore raising the stress skills and instead use inspiration cards for obstacles where stress skills are the only option · If you really want to raise stress skills, I’d raise awareness the most and fisticuffs the least Capers · An obstacle being ‘red’ on the caper requirements list in-game doesn’t always mean that you have to pass it. Sometimes if you fail it it just moves on, sometimes it makes you rest and retry, and sometimes the obstacles are perfectly normal and the game is just showing it in red due to an error. · You have to beat The Main Adventure in Peru for The Albino Alligator Adventure to unlock · You DO NOT have to do all of a guy’s capers to get their capers to activate. You just have to follow along with their main adventure. For example, you can view Roland’s main adventure events in Egypt, not do his Egypt caper, view his main adventure events in New York, and then do his Australian caper even though you didn’t do his Egyptian one. HOWEVER, Sterling is the exemption to this (Sterling is usually the exemption to rules). You must finish his Egyptian adventure to unlock some of his main adventure events, you must finish his Indian adventure to unlock some of his main adventure events, and you must finish his Peruvian adventure to unlock some of his main adventure events.

And so they fight with each other, they shoot themselves, but so far none of the parties hit. Until finally one of the Poles said: - What is the most popular German name? - Hmmmm ... maybe Hans? - ABOUT! Good! We scream Hans and maybe some deer will go out and shoot him. And they scream: - Hans! - Ja!? - The kraut leaned out ... JEB! Got a bullet . - Hans! - Ja!? - JEB! Next... - Hans! - Ja!? - JEB! And so they beat them up, there were only a few ... They think and think: - Maybe we will do that too? - JA! What is the popular Polish name? - Maybe Zdzichu? - Ja gut! And they scream: - Zdzichu! - (silence) - Zdzichu! - (silence) - Zdzichu! - Zdzicha is not there, is on vacation ... It's you Hans? - Ja! - JEB!

To try and raise awareness of the game (and because I really like Gwynhwfara's stories), I programmed her alternate Ahmose Dream ending into the game and recorded it. The video looks a lot better in 720p+, so try to watch it in that if you can. Also, though this is a fan video, it does have mild spoilers for Ahmose's real dream ending (namely some Ahmose sprites), so watch at your own risk. Here is Gwynhwfara's original post: http://ohlookashinysquirrel.tumblr.com/post/137730882267/1931-scheherazade-at-the-library-of-pergamum I also posted this on tumblr and plan on posting other Scheherazade related things here: https://scheherazade-keating.tumblr.com/ Fun fact: I temporarily wrote over The Bigglesworth Adventure to make this.

Has anyone gotten 100 relationship points with Ahmose or more than 96? I am trying to write out how to get all 100 points, but I can only find 96. Ahmose is not involved in many capers, and I've been over those few capers so many times, I have no idea how I'm missing four points. Here is what I have: Ahmose main=10 Christmas=5 Easter=4 Ahmose Egypt=13 Ahmose Australia=12 Ahmose India=12 Ahmose Peru=11 Ahmose New Orleans=12 Ahmose Turkey=15 Kheper Conversations=2 Those are also the only capers that Ahmose has relationship points in, so there isn't much to search through. If anyone can add any information, confirm anything, or point out any errors, please let me know. I can't imagine that there are actually four Ahmose points missing in-game, but since I think Sterling has two points not obtainable (on his route anyway), I am not ruling it out.

Just to double check, did you get all Dream points for every character or all Relationship points? I know you can get all 100 Dream points for every character, but the relationship points (the ones that lead to friendship endings) are the ones that may not be there. I've always thought that it was confusing that the relationship points get you friendship endings yet 'relationship' implies romance, so I thought I would double check. If you did get 100 relationship points with everyone and not 100 dream, then that is confirmation that I need to go back over Sterling's relationship points as well.

There should be a folder called Cache_V3 in C:\ProgramData\Academagia, if you're on Windows 7 or I believe 10. Delete it. Reloading the game afterwards might take a lot longer than normal, that's what the cache is normally for, but by the same token if the cache contains an error it's the reason why reloading won't fix it.

You're supposed to get Love if you have Affection and an opposite gendered student at 13+ relationship. It might take a day or so, the game has to add Affection and than Love which it might not be able to do on the same day, but other than that under those conditions you're supposed to get it.

I don't know if it's new, but I think there's a minor bug with the display of skill maxima. I had Negation Spells at the skill maxima at 11. Then I cashed in a favor with Orsi and expanded the skill maxima by one. However, clicking on the skill still told me that the skill was at the maximum at 11. I could still normally train the skill to 12, but now the game tells me that I'm just one skill step away from 13. xD Though I can't actually train the skill anymore, despite what the game tells me. And in the Random Event MKA - Miya - Makeup it says (Character)Character/Female/Selection/Miya Hikari instead of just her name,

Hence, not a bug that we really could have noticed. Older beta versions didn't do the "start the PC in an empty Clique" thing, either. Not quite sure why that last minute change was made, to be perfectly honest, even if it didn't break things horribly. Legate, care to enlighten us?

At least early on, racking up stress seems like a good thing. Stress level controls how quickly you can train the stress related skills, and you can get upto 90-100 stress fairly easily (if you're trying to get stress) about halfway through Egypt. This means you can cap or 90+ all of the stress skills a little ways past Egypt (of course, drop the stress immediately after you're done). Your skills control how good your inspirations are, and lot of the top level inspirations end up influencing a lot of skills (plus they provide a high general bonus). So by having very high stress related skills, you can get very good inspirations quickly, which let you get through the adventures effectively.

These may change at a moment's notice. Seriously, a moment's notice. Caterina (“Cat”) is a proud alumni of the Safaviore Officer's School, and she seems to find it something of a disappointment that the Academagia isn't more like it. She sees herself as a noble gentlewoman of war, and is constantly badgering others for failing to live up to the expectations she sets on herself. In practice, that just means she's constantly challenging people to duels, both fencing and magical. She forgets all about ideals and responsibilities as soon as she hears a piece of juicy gossip, though. Eulalia is a respectable ferret. Unfortunately, that means she isn't a noble steed, a ferocious war dog, or a fierce bird of prey. All things she would rather be- for if she was something different, something worthy and useful in battle, Caterina might notice her. Caterina does not mistreat her familiar. It's more that half the time she forgets her familiar even exists. Absorbed in her studies of strategy and tactics, a familiar who can offer her nothing of use in such fields is a familiar wasted. Eulalia often sits on her Mistress's shoulder unnoticed, waiting patiently for the moment Caterina will look at her and request something of her, but such moments are few and far between. So Eulalia has decided she will become the world's first War Ferret. She practices fighting and memorizes all the strategies and tactics Caterina looks over, and so far, no pair of socks has been able to stand up to her wraith. Soon, she thinks, it will be time to move on to more difficult prey. Perhaps gloves. Cuàn is a bit of an odd one. He likes books more then people, and animals more then books. He seems to always be reading if indoors, or tracking down interesting animals if outdoors. He's a true loner who doesn't seem to have any close friends at all, and he doesn't seem bothered by it. He usually fades in to the background unless you're specifically looking for him. Despite all that, though, he seems to be constantly surrounded by strange rumors. People tend to find him a bit mysterious. Corey is a wolf. An actual wolf. Most people are of the opinion that he is the coolest thing about Cuàn Gallagher. Corey does not disagree with this. He is Cuàn's savior and confident, and he expects to be acknowledged. He paws through the center of hallways and glowers at humans- even Professors!- to move rather then move himself. He dismisses all other familiars- even the birds, the cats, and the dogs- as prey and looks down at them with effortless disgust. He considers the whole of the Academagia grounds as his territory and makes it clear that the Academagia only stands because he and he alone allows it to. And yet despite all his pompous words and deeds, he remains attached to the rather ordinary Cuàn- who in turn, treats him with an odd deference and respect, as if Corey's claims are true rather then mere blabber. That causes people to be slightly unnerved. Just slightly. (I decided I need a jerkish familiar, as everyone else has rather nice familiars. Well, Fanuco is sort of on the edge, but he's a jerk with a heart of gold type deal. Corey's just rude.)

This should probably be in this thread: Cat takes Athletics, Botany, Enchant, Incantation, Negation and Rhetoric. All of them were taken by choice, so she's happy with her selection. She wouldn't have minded taking Revision, for it's healing ability, or Dialect for it's ability to help her build the arguments she uses in Rhetoric, but even she would be forced to admit that at the moment, six classes are her limit. See, even though she lectures people for talking in class, she spends a lot of her class periods listening (not talking! so it doesn't count as hypocrisy, you see?) to the latest gossip and passing notes. She does okay in her classes, if not spectacularly. Athletics is probably her favorite, but Enchant is up there- somewhat oddly, Enchant is her worst class. She finds it very interesting, though. Cuàn takes Astrology, Dialectic, Grammar, Music, Revision and Zoology. Grammar and Dialectic were assigned to him by whoever first interviewed him who was somewhat disturbed by his terseness and tendency to leave pronouns out of sentences. He tolerates them, anyway. The only class he has issues with is Music, actually- he took it because he likes playing the fiddle (it's a fiddle! not a violin! Katja plays the violin!), not because he cares about Notation or anything, and certainly not because he wanted to learn how to play the lute. He does well in his classes, though, even though three of them are primed from bad attributes, because he studies a lot and he's programmed to try and get extra credit. He'd like to have taken Negation, too, but he didn't have much choice. Zoology is predictably his favorite course, followed by Revision. Right. Seems to belong here a bit better. Cuàn is now officially in the system with all tables accounted for. I've moved he and Cat to a Word Document, too, so it's easier for me to proofread, it's more likely to be accepted when I send it in, and I have a backup if my mod decides to suddenly get corrupted because life hates me. Retyping everything in to word took some time, but eh, I sort of worked on Project at the same time. What Cat and Cuàn are missing, modtools-wise, is descriptions (the hardest thing I find to write because I find it difficult to be terse enough... my descriptions end up double the size of most students descriptions and then I struggle with cutting it down), their familiars, and then their three abilities. Then it's just writing events and adventures, which is the fun part. I'll try to work on familiars and abilities tonight, but who knows if I'll get it done. Still, it's an attempt.

I added a bit to the tutorial, but it's sort of scattered information. I'll add more before the days end. So, um, look! These are the bases MadHatt made for Cat and Cuàn, that I will very likely be basing their final portraits on. I would like a few changes made to them, though, and I absolutely beg for help on this. I am horrible at editing portraits. I don't even have an image software installed anymore. I need help! For Cat, make her skin slightly more olive- a bit more 'Italian girl who likes the sun' then she currently looks. Add a bit of color to her eyes- maybe blue? Give her lips a tiny hint of more pink, as she uses cosmetics. For Cuàn, give him color. Make him look a bit less like you-know-who, possibly by moving his face up on his head a bit further (that could make his hair hang in his eyes a bit, too, which was sort of the idea that appeared in my head when I first pictured him). Give his eyes a bit more green. All in all, they are fantastic starts, they just need a bit of work. So I kindly request that if you have any skill at editing images- no matter how small- you take a peek at this and see if you can do anything. As I said, I am hopeless at this. I'm a writer, not an artist. So I would appreciate help from all corners, and would be very thankful if anyone wants to take the time to do this. So... um... please.

That is, if I'd ever be willing to bet anything.
