  1. Dani; It is curious that Aranaz had no hint, isn't it? Favors can come from Adventures, yes. Formal Invitation doesn't go away in Y2, mind you. You still have it. How it operates in Y2 differs, though.
  2. Dani; Alas, no. But, they did agree to give some hints... "Avila: Badcrumble's has demanded a Literature credit, so her girls will be moderately well-rounded as individuals. Durand: "Negation and Incantation" is the proposed first in a series of specialized seminars. "A History of Magical Conflict" has been discussed as an offering from an unusual Professor. Godina: Is the Regent a lunatic? Certainly, his interests can be unique. Hedi: The college is well known for including curriculum on languages and customs. Morvidus: An adjunct professor has suggested an "Introduction to Magical Medicine." Vernin: Certainly, Heraldry will be of use to students in this college.
  3. The overall effect is really nice, with all the ornamentation!
  4. For Rhi: "Have a look at Uliva's portrait! " For Metis: "As a rule, it depends on the power of the spell, and on the caster's history with that particular magical pillar. A wizard's magical essence or aura tends to be shaped by what they specialize in, and at a certain stage of one's magical progression that can have awkward consequences. Someone becoming increasingly specialized in Incantation magic will retain traces from the creation of a column of fire for longer than a habitual Glamour mage who did a one-off, for example. That said, eventually, one will have cast so many fire spells that the residuum of any single one will blend into the rest almost immediately. All of that having been said, for most spells, most traces dissipate by the next sunrise or sunset (unless you have a really good Astrologer on the job - what we're talking about with "conventional" detection is more along the lines of Negation). More powerful workings... maybe a week or two, as a baseline. And then there are really epic feats that can be with you for the rest of your life - sometimes to the extent that even people without magical training might notice a certain glow about the eyes or strange smell in the air. There's a non-trivial chance that somebody like Orso has to use Glamours just to keep from standing out in a crowd...."
  5. Absolutely, go right ahead! I don't think we'd use AI this way for Academagia, despite the obvious allure. We're a bit too attached to our artists. But then again, you never know for other projects. Edit: I don't think we have anything commoditized for purchase like that, unfortunately. But I can see why you'd ask.
  6. Rhi; Certainly, feel free! I can't promise anything, but I'll certainly take a request back to the Team. We have [Redacted] plans, yes.
  7. Dani; Hope springs eternal. It's been looked at, yeah. But not near complete.
  8. Dani; 1) Always. 2) I'm not sure what you mean by this one.
  9. Dani; I think that may depend on your personal style of play. I generally think money is useful in Y2. During summer you are with your Parents or Guardians, although [Redacted]. You can celebrate your Birthday in style, yes! I think Artifice/Enchant will also depend on your style of play.
  10. Dani; 1) When it's ready! 2) Well, I'll certainly ask. 3) No, I wouldn't think so. 4) Yes. 5) Mmm. Hard to tell, exactly.
  11. What Metis wrote. As to Flore and Kurt's reasons, no comment.
  12. Dani; 1) Generally, I'd think it's the amount of time we're able to devote to it. 2) No, I doubt we'll do a Kickstarter for Academagia. We don't want to be rushed to meet a deadline- too important to us. But, you never know!
  13. Rhi; "There aren't specific Academy-wide restrictions on lipstick, regardless of age. It's not a mass-produced commodity, even in Mineta, but a specialized concoction of beeswax and dyes that basically has to be made to order. (And, in a general sense, it's associated with older women trying to look younger, or with actors and actresses trying to accentuate their features on the stage, not so much with kids trying to look more mature than they are.) The Academy does have Glamour and Sumptuary Codes that specifically discourage students on the grounds from presenting themselves "in a manner unbefitting the custom and proper comportment of their age," which generally means that sixteen year olds can get away with things eleven year olds can't, but the actual specifics of the Codes haven't been formally updated in decades - Orso certainly can't be bothered - and they're not strictly enforced. In practice, what really signifies whether or not you're appropriately arranged on school grounds is... well, whether Professor Badcrumble or Professor Piaxenza grabs you in the hallways and tells you to clean yourself up."
  14. We have done some Y3 writing, yes. As to the number of units- I'm not sure, but basically whatever Academagia makes, we put back into the game. So... the more the better, from that point of view.
  15. Dani; Thanks! 1) No. 1.1) [Redacted] 2) That's always an interesting one to answer. Yes, probably.
  16. Dani; It's unlikely we would do it, but it is possible. In most cases you should be able to export a Y1 character, even with mods.
  17. Dani; Only that you can select attitudes to the Class, which tailor what you get out of it slightly. It's not a huge impact, but will help focus on what you'd like to focus on. It can be Stressful, though.
  18. Rhi; Almost certainly yes, although probably the matter would be given to one of the ecclesiastical courts.
