  1. How distinct are...classes? Species? Races? Um...the (ostensibly?) same kinds of Fey from one major landmass to the next?
  2. Sins Can Be Forgiven, Stage 11: I have to wonder if Y2 can (will?) do more with these "choose your attribute to increase" options that tend to appear in my adventures. Also, since it's done already, Sins Can Be Forgiven, Stage 12: Why, yes, I do have future plans for this adventure. Hopefully it'll be a fun ride .
  3. Sins Can Be Forgiven, Stage 10: This is another one of those mysteries I set up and only figured out how to solve afterwards. Thankfully there was a solution to this particular puzzle.
  4. Sins Can Be Forgiven, Stage 9: Another one of those weird failure texts. Keeping information parity across all options is always a challenge.
  5. In universe IIRC Reneglian is more like Italian, but it's translated into modern English for the benefit of the reader, so in that respect it should work just fine.
  6. Y2 random event suggestion: One of the PC's friends has been cursed by (insert either friend's enemy or generic bully here, whichever works better) to be unable to speak the letter E, and approaches the PC for help. General options like Negation/approach a professor exist, but one option is to stick it to the enemy/bully by convincing the friend to join the Academagia's theatre troupe for a quick stint and wow the crowd with their "impeccable" imitation of a (likely foreign?) pirate accent. After the play, backstage, the friend will tell the PC "I swar by the hav'ns abov I'll c'l'brat whn I stop talking lik' an un'ducat'd pirat!"
  7. Sins Can Be Forgiven, Stage 8: I don't intent for this adventure to be exclusive to any given college, but I have noticed that there seem to be a fair few Astrology options in it.
  8. Sins Can Be Forgiven, Stage 7: Given the implied length of time that's passed I've no idea whether to make this stage trigger automatically after X days (assuming Y2 can even do that) or whether to only make this follow-up section available after X date, or what. A problem to solve when there's confirmed knowledge of a Y2 to solve it with, I suppose .
  9. Sins Can Be Forgiven, Stage 6: As one might expect this is the point where the adventure is expected to take a break, but it's not quite the end of the full Y2 adventure quite yet. It'll continue on until stage...12, in this case.
  10. Sins Can Be Forgiven, Stage 5: Bit of recycling with the failure texts, yes, but either you see a guy or you don't. Also another one of those instances where I could not figure out a way to make the adventure stall in even a halfway reasonable fashion, so alternative consequences it is.
  11. Sins Can Be Forgiven, Stage 4: Feels like later years is going to have a dedicated "finding Legate Orsi" skill with how often the PC seems to look for him .
  12. Sins Can Be Forgiven, Stage 3: Right, there was a reason I said this adventure was a thing outside of the weird situation with the exit texts, huh? Well, it's a thing. And rest assured this train isn't going to find any rails to stick to any time soon (as if my adventures ever do ).
  13. Sins Can Be Forgiven, Stage 2: Case in point with the exits. Doing my best, but the more narratively realistic alternative of "every other step ends the adventure prematurely" seems overly harsh for what is, ultimately, a video game.
  14. Slight less than a year this time, despite multiple failed attempts, a new adventure! This one...I mean I feel like I say this about every single adventure, but this one...is a thing. Sins Can Be Forgiven, Stage 0: Anyone who bet that this very obvious "filler to place the PC somewhere specific" stage ended up proving quite important, congratulations, you've got greater pattern recognition than I do . Sins Can Be Forgiven, Stage 1: Expect some possible weird exit text going forward, because this is an adventure that really wants to keep rolling, so getting it to stay still on the tracks for any length of time is going to be...difficult...
  15. Is Bond Theory rooted in Gates to the point where someone researching it would raise suspicion, if only on a level of "glance at what book they're reading if you're around"?
  16. I'll admit my sense of what counts as a long bit of text has, oh what's the word...gotten messed up recently? In any case please pardon me, I'm due to break YT's comment unstated character limit twice over for the...thirtieth time or so 🙃.
  17. Just to confirm, that's also the reason my PM is still being looked at? Not sure off-hand if Academagia and VB share the same team to that extent.
  18. Does the Imperial Temple have a military arm that individual temples could...I'unno, call on, petition, ask? Whatever, for the type of support another organization would ask the city guard or hire mercenaries for?
  19. If a physician wished to volunteer at a temple, putting their skills as a healer to good use, what would be a good place (or two, or three) to hit up?
  20. How much legal authority does the Academagia (or perhaps the Legate more specifically) have with regards to decidedly out there magic crimes committed in Mineta which doesn't otherwise involve them directly, at least in practice if not on paper?
  21. Even if it isn't something a commoner would ever consider it might be something that comes up within specific circles, if only as a philosophical topic.
  22. Euthanasia isn't legal in Mineta when applied to people, correct? ...Oh, and, eh, pardon the left field question I guess .
  23. Do physicians have any characteristic clothes, tools, etc.? Or perhaps something inspired by a prominent guild uniform?
  24. Writes down notes. How accessible is this information to the general public? Not that I can think of a great many legitimate situations where someone would need to access this information where they couldn't point to an existing doppelganger (never mind where they came from), but if this is the kind of thing that, say, asking the guard about would have you send to interrogation on the spot while a team of investigators is dispatched to turn your every known property upside-down...well, let's say it might complicate things 🙃.
  25. On a scale of "a student could do this" to "the gods themselves would weep in awe", how difficult would be be to take a blood sample (or similar) and use that to create/incubate/whatever the proper word is a living genetically identical duplicate of someone? The clone does not have to be magically aged up to match their donor's natural age, if that makes any difference. If accomplishing this is within human limits exactly how horrifically illegal is it (at least I'd assume that it is), and is it illegal more for political/religious reasons (I.E. people growing their own Catherine Chard copies/replacements would quickly turn messy and/or the Temple flips tables at the idea of people intruding upon the sacred duties of the gods, or some such) or more because it's (believed/assumed to be) so close to Gates magic that it ends up falling under that umbrella/required actual Gates magic outright?
