I actually just looked at the Midway video posted here and I kept thinking "aren't those corsairs? They weren't at Midway. Aren't those Japanese planes ground based? The rocket kamikaze wasn't used either?" Took me a long time to put together that wasn't Midway. ?

When I was in the USCG I patrolled the waters mentioned and know those locations mentioned. This song reminds me of the sea.

Geez guys tell us what you really think of the US ?. Yeah, idiots are in every country and with the US's population we have them in spades. So they spread a bunch of misinformation and turn "we were essential in the war" in to "We were the sole saviors of the war". Sadly this has left us Yanks in a position where people aren't too fond of us. Plus, It really hurts the pride when we're basicly a glorified arms factory ?. So while Canada doesn't get recognized as often as it should at least when it is people usually have nothing bad to say. People actively groan when they hear the US, and yes I know, no one to blame but ourselves.

People also forget what actual appropriation is. Wearing something of significance from a culture (ie native American head dress) and wear it as a joke or a fashion with no idea the origin or significance then that is appropriation.

Will the events of the war be mentioned by the Belles? Will the English mention the Blitz? I'm gonna assume that certain naval battles don't occur since those nations' ships will be busy.

Another question, since the war is still progressing alongside the main story will certain historical events still occur? Such as the surrender of France, the blitz on England, operation Barbarossa, etc. And will the Belles react to this? Also will certain events that involved ships (pearl harbor, Battle of Midway) even if we have a ship, that was supposed to take part, in our fleet?

glad to hear. I thought it would have been kinda weird if they all were just happy to meet a captain from a nation that's been responsible for many of their countrymen's deaths.

I have a question! Will the Belles take notice of what country you're from and mentioning about being from the same/enemy country?

Wow, I feel bad for the Belles now. I wonder if they ever wonder about lands beyond the Coast.

Could they travel further at their home ports?

Question about the dating-multiple-belles situation. Are there Belles that will find out about it and be enraged confront you or are all the Belles okay with this?

I've mentioned them before but USCGC Campbell and USCGC Ingham. Campbell was nicknamed queen of the sea for her extensive service record. Plus, her last transmission before sinking beneath the waves was "The Queen is dead. Long live the Queen." So I imagine her being very regal. Ingham was the most decorated Coast Guard Cutter so I would love her to embody the Coast Guard motto "Semper Paratus- Always ready" and the unofficial motto "You have to go out, you don't have to back". And both these girls served in to the 1980's so I would love to see that incorporated in some way.
