  6. In case BCS ever touch the engine of Y1 again: A way to improve class performance is to give 2 instead of 1 SS per class skill improvement listed. This way the top performer mostly only understands the difficult sub skills faster while the weak students get a most needed boost once the skills get past their attributes. This idea natural need some simulation rounds with the NPC results without player influence for the real effect it has. IMHO the effect should be that the difficult classes like Dialectic, Arithmetic, Enchant and so on have more people reaching 100% and for the big rest of classes the average exam results should get higher.
  7. 8th to 14th Nivelos Because my friends from Aranaz are still not at the level to do the necessary Orthography for the wand project I am planning for quite a while, I decided to try to learn the necessary techniques myself. I had my doubts that I ever will reach the necessary level myself but thanks to the help of my friends, some people of the bookworm's club, a librarian, and even my Enchant Professor I managed to learn the necessary knowledge in just a few days so that at the weekend I could start. Saturday after casting Cleanse and Remake and 6th Finger, I then finally could start crafting the core of the wand. The Enchant Professor even arranged a crafting station for me next to the infirmary so that he can keep an eye on me while he works there. Crafting the core did go without a hitch, but sure it was difficult work especial the Orthography part. The core could even work as its own wand already, but it is only part of the main project. For Sunday and The Sententae, I then got a full-fledged Workstation reserved. When the Enchant Professor brought an older student over and told us that as part of his detention, he has to help me I was troubled. I feared that this student might ruin my project, but we actual managed to work well together. The Sententae after some finishing touches in the Orthography we could present the wand to the Professor. My helper got free from his detention and we both each got Merit for our college and Extra Credit for our class. But the best part was that the Professor complimented my wand, as great work!
  8. 1st to 7th Nivelos Tuesday I found the time to buy some supplies in the city, was about high time to stock up some of the things I regular need. On the way back, I was in thought about how unfair this ban of Gate and Mastery magic is for the current generations. I only realized quite late that somewhere I did take the wrong turn. I think during the Dance of the Fools I was at the same part of the city as well. Suddenly I remembered the message this invisible bird has brought to me some month ago and the location I should go is just the next entrance to the right. There was a structure hidden that just looks like an interesting decoration that then I touched at the 7 places as I supposed to do. Although when I withdraw my hand from the last spot, I feel a light pain and a blood drop falling on the structure. The next second I sensed some magic entering me and changing something. Although I'm not sure what was changed but I think that it must be some restriction about Mastery magic that was broken away. 2 days later when I actual want to train once again with my familiar I found myself in a cave full of crystals instead of the border of the forest. Then it dawns me, this must be the famous Cave of the Crystals the invisible bird told me about, a place to study mastery! My curiosity got the better of me and direct had to test one of the larger crystals ... Ughhhhh that was too much knowledge in short time and now I have a headache with next to no gain. What worse going outside dusk already nearing and there apparently no way down from this cave. Hearing Wildflower from the left I spot her sitting apparently in the air. Thanks to the headache it took me some time to realize that there apparently something invisible! With the help of some dust and small stones it became obvious that it's an invisible path going away from the cave. Following it I soon get to a normal path and from this I could go home to Academagia. It became more and more clear that my knowledge on Gate Spells where lagging behind the rest of my gate magic understanding. So, for this whole weekend I decided to focus on fix this issue. Sadly, there not many places that would work for training because this magic is still considered illegal, and I don't want to end in a prison cell of a religious order or worse. Natural the Schohanwitch School should be one of the best places for this. There was no practice room open for the Saturday, so I just hit the books in the library and did the training Sunday.

For 2 days all your Spells, Actions and Ability get easier. I skipped the description of the new spells, at least for now, because it is too much work.
  10. 22nd to 28th Hionosi This week I only tried to learn why a ghost was disrupted in its rest at a house in Hedi and it took way longer than expected. I came across this when during a bookworm's meeting my hands got on a few books that where ruined with personal notes written into them. Looks like someone recently found out about a treasure that might still be buried in this house and thought it is on them to find it. As open as it is written about this so-called treasure in this old books it would be a wonder if the treasure would be still in this place 100 years ago, not to talk about today. Still, I natural reported about the ruined books so that the culprit can be punished, after all it was quite the work to remove these notes. The next day I visited the building and found the ghost blocking the entrance. Putting my courage together I talked to the ghost and then I learn that there 3 students who digging in the base and so disrupting its slumber. What worse the even threatening the poor ghost that he should keep other people away or they destroy his grave. For the next day I then waited with my friends in hiding to make sure all 3 people are inside the building and then I am getting a professor over to punish these students. On the way back I explained the professor that these students damaged books, hurting a usual peaceful ghost and even damaging the base of a Hedi building. This week I finally became good enough to perform with the violine, lyre and lute even without magical instruments. Actual this is only the start that my rival for the best grades in Music long reached for the violine.
  11. 15th to 21st Hionosi Beside learning at Schuhanwitch, how the gate magic school is called, training with my Familiar and helping at the bookworm's club I again found some time for 2 adventure this week. Aymeri once again learned about some interesting place this time a cave that apparently is protected by a puzzle trap. The puzzle trap only needed some research to break it and the next one was a glamour dragon. What idiot is using the universal enemy of humankind as a Glamour? If we didn't realize it fast enough, I would have brought massive forces. Hidden behind the glamoured dragon is a human more ghost the living. The other 3 of my clique had no interest in "babysitting" and after they didn't find anything else they left me alone with this ghost like human. When I learned from him that he was also in Academagia before his ancient with gate magic happened, I decided to ask the Negation Professor for help. Although he was discharged from the Academagia already because he failed to show up, the Regent from Durand still decided to have a look. In the end this half ghost was brought to the infirmary in Academagia. I was tasked to inform the House Grounders that their long missing member was finally be found. It still took till the weekend before then this half ghost status was mostly cured und he could visit his house. Together with some Regents and Professor I had to attend this celebration and to my surprise I even would get a price money. Instead of the price money I asked for a statue in honour of Durand to be erected. My hidden thought about this is that if this statue is built on the Durand Campus, as a sponsor I should probably have access to it. Also, the prestige from having a statue should more help to my parents and me then pure money. Sunday when my clique was walking in direction of the Imperial Reserve together with our familiar, a giant Acorn that even can speak was discovered. To be precise it was actual my familiar that discovered it. Because this Acorn lost its direction Eduard decided to help it find its way home. So first we have to sneak into the imperial reserve once again what isn't that much of problem for me anymore. And if it wouldn't for a small group of Bandit who stupidly thinking that the Academagia outfit means, we are easy prey, it would have been an easy task. This time it was me who brought dangerous animals upon the bandits instead the reserve something upon me. 2 swarms of bees and 1 dog was enough to unnerve these bandits already when I just had started with the fun. Hopeful none of my friend realized that I used simple gate magic outside of the sight of the bandits. After the bandits it was no issue to bring the Acorn back home anymore. For me the interesting thing was that there is another grove hidden in the centre of the imperial reserve and what we carried is actual a royal Acorn. The Oakheart Branch each from us got might be useful in the future but for now with my sword, 2 wands and the Enchanted Horn I carry more than enough.
  12. 8th to 14th Hionosi The Gate magic training starting for me this week is actual quite gruesome, slowly draining my vitality while visiting the teaching. Still the result is great, within just this week I already learned my first summoning spell called Wild dog. This week I had to help with guarding the thief that was captured during the 28th Cheimare by the Legate with my help. The problem I encountered there was that the other 1st year didn't see any need for guarding a prisoner. So, despite that the Legate ordered us first year to guard him with a group, I only could convince them to do this job with 2 people at a time. Natural 2 day later the prisoner managed to escape because the 1st year completely ignored the guard duty. With a dog we managed the follow the escape till to near a building when we suddenly found us back at Academagia. Good that the Legate ended our duty regarding the tief then. Still the next powerful mage that have at last 1 magic trick of the gate school, and here I thought this magic is forbidden. During the weekend I then had some time to explore a forest again with my familiar. This time we encountered a settlement of light fairies that have a crystal stolen by a group of dark fairies. While the light fairies fighting with the dark fairies Wildspirt managed to sneak in the home of the dark fairies and recover the crystal. Before the dark fairies even realised what happened I managed to rush the crystal to the location where it is supposed to be. Anyway, without the spell Silence Footfalls I doubt Wildspirit and me would manage to pull this off. After I delivered the crystal, I was blinded by the resulting bright light and when I regained my sight the dark fairies were running away. According to the light fairies Wildspirit and me now considered their allies, quite the interesting result. Sunday I then had to alt last do some service for the bookworm's club.
  13. For Sprite Bond Adventure 05 - Good Path the Sprite Bond Exit 12 is from the description something the familiar is doing but the roll and reward is for the player. Also, I think Sprite Bond Adventure 04 to Sprite Bond Adventure 06 should be on the same day. Because I didn't look for the other 2 path, I think it is best to have a full look at this familiar bond adventure.
  14. 1st to 7th Hionosi Most of this week's free time I spend with Wildflower exploring one of the nearby forest areas to strengthen my bound with her. I.e., we gattered some glowing bugs to make a non-magical lantern, I tested out the Improved Familiar Handling from Zoology class and so on. During this week I also had to attend an entry test for a gate magic school and despite I had to bluff myself trough this test I was accepted. Starting with next week I will attend this school with an unregular evening schedule in addition to my duties for Academagia and the Bookworm-club. Friday when we returned from the trip Wildflower found a letter addressed to someone in Academagia, so I took it on me to deliver it. Saturday, I managed to deliver the letter. As bookworm club member I even managed to help her find a transformation spell she needs to start with a scavenger hunt she was invited to with this letter. Lucky for her I had some time to help her with this hunt because she probably never would be able to enter a villa that I could easy enter with my status as noble. Took us quite some time to follow all the clues and got past the tests till we found the goal, the "goblin market". The access to this market should be useful for me if I get my hand on some less legal things in the future. One of my clique members came to me when I was helping as bookworm member at the library Sunday morning. Aymeri told me that a sunken building he spotted underwater during the penguin incident is now actual out of the water and he want to explore it together with us all. So, I finished my job and joined the exploration of this palace like building with my clique members. For most of the exploration we needed to swim around, and it was less exciting then imagined. Actual this time I couldn't really help much especial when we later were dragged in the illusion of a long past Mineta. What I still don't understand is why it was me who ended up with the talking wand called Wand of Ahriman's Mission when it was Tabin who provided the most.

  16. I did play Two Point Academy for a while now and effective it is your typical building game. Personal I think it makes fun to play either the campaign or the Sandbox once while learning how things working and there is a lot to learn. Sadly, it already becomes quite repetitive during the 4 years of sandbox I played. Before the start of a new year, you have to decide if you want to expand your current areas of teaching, add a new course or change nothing. Each new course or expansion of an existing one requires you to increase the teaching rooms and teachers by a fixed number for 2 or 3 years in follow, depending on how many years the course has. Over the year you might need to adjust the personal you have, build new rooms, change what is in the rooms or outdoors depend on wishes, goals you get to reach and what you want to build.

I think it would be nice to have some spells added in Y2 pure out of RPG reason even if they actual have no ingame function, perhaps with a note "work only in adventures and events" but with also a default roll given that have no effect. Talking about things like clean your outfit via magic. Also, the function to check if the player has a spell to open an exit and then the spell have its usual roll would be really helpful. This way you don't have to cross reference with what roll do the spell need to be working, also to prevent that the rolls are all over the place in events and adventures.

For 2 day you get your Luck, Flirting, Flattery, Persuasion and Negotiate increased. N Lose Bearings An Mastery and Affliction spell. If you manage to overcome the Intelligence of the target its Explore skill is reduced, and even the luck is slightly lowered. N Punch & Exploit An Combat and Glamour spell of average difficulty.   21. The Passing to Itinera The Passing is where people traditional researching their ancestry. So, it's a busy time for the Bookworms. I got tasked to help the History Professor who helping visitors of the library with their ancestry research. Only by the evening I then managed to go to the house of Miss Schwarzbart. Naturally I didn't forget to deliver the letter from the Legate. Over dinner the old lady then showed then interest what we learn in class these days, and was quite shocked that there was nothing we were thought for the complete last week. She also was shocked that beside Enchant I didn't have any regular magic subject as class. I also found time to do the remaining homework. For The Weeding Feast I had to assist Miss Schwarzbart in creating an Invisible Cloak using pure alchemical processes. She explained that this way one doesn't need to do extra steps to hide the magical energy. Also, she ranted that during her time as Artifice and Alchemical Professor she never would let Vernin Students have a 1st year without Alchemy class. This all she then on the current Vernin Regent who in her opinion is probably the worst Regent Academagia ever had for Vernin. For the evening I then meet with my clique to sneak into a Weeding Feast. To our luck there where many students beside us so our school uniforms didn't stand out. The food and entertainment is on a high level, although not on the level when my family visit my uncle, it still the best I saw in Mineta so far. Beside paying my tuition I spend most of this day at the Academagica Vegetable Gardens observing animals. There I once again have the strange feeling of connection I first had during near the end of the duel of the Legate vs the Thief. This time it is even more intense! It's like a part of my self is somewhere out there and hiding from me. When I returned to the house of Miss Schwarzbart the feeling slowly faded away. Talking with the old lady about it she explained that I probably started to form a familiar bond with another creature. Thanks to the Zoology class I already know how to take care of normal familiar she then only teaches me Exchange Familiar, just in case our bound don't work out for us both. After breakfast Miss Schwarzbart casted some magic on me. She then suggests that I should visit the Vegetable Gardens again but should return before lunch. Observing the animals in the garden for some time I was approached by a sprite when I was starting to eat an apple. Getting a feeling of hunger from the bound I cut off some part of the apple I didn't bit in and hold it toward the spirit. The sprite is carful approaching me and then fast take the apple out of my hand before landing next to me. If I'm not wrong, it is a Springtime Jenny. After some time of conversing with this sprite called Wildflower, it got time to return for lunch. After I asked if she want to come with me Wildflower agreed and landed on my shoulder. When lunch was over, I was asked to clean the kitchen and dining room to fulfil one of the usual traditions of Itinera. Wildflower was a good helper with this task because she could fly. So, she could clean ceiling light where I would have difficulty to reach them. I think at one point I even saw Miss Schwarzbart spying on us with a smile. Before we headed back Miss Schwarzbart gave me a parcel for the Legate that contain the invisible cloak and a letter. She reminded me that I need to register my new Familiar at the Academy and that at last for the next time I should build my bound with the sprite at forest areas. At the office of the Legate opened the parcel and commented "As always perfect work from Miss Schwarzbart" when he could feel the cloak but couldn't see it. He then opened the letter and laughed "Looks like she has high hopes for you youngling, just one kind of warning don't mention what she thinks about your Regent toward him" For the night I then had to stay at the dorms because class starting tomorrow again. made a mistake in the 26th to 28th Cheimare using spirit instead of sprite a few times there, that is fixed now.

  23. 26th to 28th Cheimare During Friday's class I learned that I have to visit the Legate in his office after classes and Saturday my Zoology Professor asked for my help at the Lodge of Forgotten Winter. So, after class I found myself with the rest of my clique and some other people in the office of the Legate where we were explained that we have to search for 3 pirates. They supposedly have set their camp at a nearby forest. After my clique agreed to strategical search for hints of the pirates the other could only follow up with our choice. Sure enough, less then 1h after we started, we found a camp for 3 people inside the forest that looked like it could be from the pirates. My knowledge of the animals let us avoid all the dangerous ones. What my group impressed the most was that once they lost sight of me, they could no longer tell where I was. After the report is finished, I had to stay behind just to learn that during the holidays I had to stay at the house of Miss Schwarzbart. Beside this surprising news, I was also asked to visit the office tomorrow once again, after I returned from the trip. Saturday after breakfast I did pack what I should bring and what I think is useful. And as expected, the Professor want me to serve him and the Tyrant Wolf as Page, while they were playing a game of cards. While I was serving them for some time, I suddenly hearing scratching noises from below. Informing the Professor about this they stopped their game, and the Professor open the door to the basement. When we looked there was just a prisoner here wo apparently made the noises. Suddenly an unnatural darkness creeping into the room followed with the noise what sound like the combat of multiple beasts. Although I could use the Horn for an area, I don't want to risk a blind shot, not knowing who or what I will hit. So, I trying to use the Beginners Dispel against this darkness. At first, I only slowing down the expansion but when I renewed my focus on the Dispel the darkness finally vanished. Spotting the Professor knocked out but no one else here I am using first aid on him. It only did take him few Minutes to full recover and then he started analysing the traces of the combat and all the left tracks. On the way I was explained that apparently evil werebeast captured the Tyrant Wolf and we have to rescue him. Thanks to magic from the Professor, we could approach them unnoticed. When one of this werecreatures approaching the Tyrant Wolf with a sinister looking dagger, I started with an attack using my horn, followed by a wind spell from the Professor. Right behind the wind spell I rushed in to take the bound Tyrant Wolf out while the Professor keep going with magical attacks. After the golden robe that binding the Tyrant Wolf was removed, he regained his senses. Seeing the size increasing of the Tyrant Wolf the enemies started to run away. From the talk on our way back it looks like I left a good impression on the Professor: But somehow I have the feeling, that it was way more important that I left a good impression with the Tyrant Wolf. As promised I visited the office of the Legate once I returned. I was tasked by the Legate to search for a thief who have stolen a magic staff and retrieve the staff. Because the Legate have a good guess where the thief was to find I found him in a short time. Although the thief was resting the staff was still close to him, probably to close. Also, there is apparently a non-magical alarm trap. In hope there is not a second alarm trap, I bypassed the one I just spotted and stealthy approached the staff. When I tried to snatch the staff I realized the tief holding the other side. Suddenly I feel a presence next to me and there is the Legate standing challenging the thief to a duel. Did the Legate really just forget to place an duel circle for the duel? Both the Legate and the thief are apparently of the same strength and the duel is interesting to watch if not for the risk to hit by an astray spell. So, I assisted the Legate by direct him to favourable terrain. When victory was nearly at our grasp some sprite showed up to play with the staff. This resulted in an explosion that blasted the sprite, the tief, the Legate and me in different directions. We still managed to capture the thief and get the staff. Strangely I feel some kind of connection with one of the sprite there, maybe it was even me why the spirits even came here. But I guess it probably just some misconception on my side. Back at the office of the Legate I got an letter that I had to hand Miss Schwarzbart the day after tomorrow. Sunday I had to do some homework, doing some minor tasks for the bookworm club and continue my apprentice time at the house in the bog. The stories got so long again that I cut off the holidays for a other posting
  24. I didn't get the Familiar Bond Adventure Strange Doll 01 ("Dexter Marchant and the Strange Doll") from getting the Doll via Excange familiar in my recent RPG. I suspect it is again the issue with some familiar adventures are automatic started at the 1st day of the game. Edit: I don't think it will be fixed in Y1 but still want to report it. If you use Exchange Familiar in the first time slot, follow up ability on the same day still count for the old familiar
