I GOT IT TO BOOT!!!! an OLD 8088 PC is almost kicking! After solving a XT/AT keyboard issue, the final straw is getting those hard drives up.

Systems I own:

5. Sega Genesis / Megadrive

7. Sega Saturn

8. Dreamcast

9. N64

10. PS2

11. Wii

12. XBOX360

PS2 & Wii & 360 are backwards compatible with their predecessors so I don't have those systems but I do have games for them.

...ich is a royal pain in the butt! All that stands between me and two floppy drives is two lousy bytes of information.. That I can't find a way to edit! STUPID motherboard manufacturers!! GRRRRRR!!!

So I've got a motherboard with a floppy controller, which I have looked up. It's the iTE IT8720 Chip, which in the documentation explicitly states that it is fully compatible with TWO (2) floppy disk drives of any configuration. Yet for some reason, the motherboard manufacturer refuses to let me use that second one. It's not hard. I just have to edit the CMOS, but since I can't do that with the preassembled CMOS editor, I have to find a way to edit the CMOS memory manually, wh...

I just got a 8088-era PC! Now I just need to work a little magic and with a little luck I can get it running! Will they port Academagia to windows 3.1?

Ripping DVDs so you have a backup is surprisingly hard work when you have around 400 of them. And then when a few of them have audio sync issues.... Ugh.
