  1. Ouch, I remember v1.0.0 of Y1. I was just curious because I've noticed you typing in the present tense about Y2, (e.g. it has {insert super-cool new feature} instead of it will have {insert super-cool new feature}), so I was wondering about what's been finalized etc.
  2. How far along is Y2? I'd pay for an alpha even
  3. Its not the differences in between their usefulness that bother me. Its more like, there's no potential for growth
  4. Hey all, I've got a suggestion regarding cliques. As it currently stands, its better to pick some clique members over others as some provide better bonuses. It wouldn't matter much except that some students have buffs which are better by an order of magnitude than others. Second the attribute bonuses from the adventures become meaningless after you do a lot of them, so some of the reward from adventuring 'lost'. I thought of something that, in my opinion, can remedy both these issues to some extent. Why not allow the adventure reward (i.e. attribute increase) to be given to one of your clique members instead of your char? That way, its not so much of an issue picking weak members as you can make them stronger and the reward of the adventure is still there. I thought it kinda makes sense from a story perspective as well seeing how your clique adventures with you. I know this can't be implemented in Y1 but maybe in Y2?
  5. I'm not sure if this hasn't already been covered, but can we see some sort of events/adventure chains where the actions of your previous adventures come up in a 'self-evaluating' or 'identity crisis' way. Wait I'll set out a rough example, it'll better convey what I'm talking about: E.g. If you're a Durand student, in one of the adventures you help recover blackhorse at the impressionable age of 12-ish from the Pregorians. What if that event skews your perception of the Pregorians that you begin to, subtly/unconsciously, not trust them or think of them as the 'villain' and some time later you find yourself doing something bad to a Pregorian and later in the day you start thinking: Just why the hell did I do that?
  6. Hello, I have a suggestion: In the Natural Philosophy skill descriptor, it says that '...its the study of the forces that hold up the mountains and keep celestial odies in harmony...' or something to that effect. But there's no mention of any subskill on motion or forces. IRL natural philosophy was the precursor of all the natural sciences. Maybe a subskill to reflect that-we can call it mechanics or something? Or, is the study of motion and forces considered a part of Engineering in the game universe and hence natural philosophy considered a seperate discipline?
  7. Hello everyone. I'm 21, just finished uni (Last exam was couple of days ago ) live in london, speak english as my main language, urdu is my native. Mostly play rpg/rts games, and love a good simulation of any kind. I must add that I find this game simply fabulous, and its good to see something original out there. First saw this game on impulse. Currently on my second playthrough as a Durand student, first was Aranaz (though I deleted that by mistake, so will have to do that again). I'm trying to join the secret society in Durand, no luck so far, but oh well! I like all the colleges but prefer durand due to their philosophy & aranaz, cause then I can take all my favorite classes. Mostly don't post a lot in the forums so you'll probably see me lurkking here or there. Cheers everyone!
