  1. RE Familiar 8 should be only for corporeal and non-flying familiars. No reason to climb the scaffolding to get Pamela down. She can fly and can't get hurt.
  2. So still a lot of time for another playthrough. It's always tough to have to delay installing a new DLC because you have a game pending.
  3. Legate; Thant's one Welsh band I haven't even heard of. Might check them out later. What are you doing up so late at night (or so early in the day)? Also another reason to like Wales: Doctor Who!
  4. Time to introduce myself i guess. I'm a math student from Poland who loves everything connected to fiction, from computer games through movies and tv shows to books, but games and tv shows are my favorite. I spend lots of time on TV tropes, have an account in almost all online game stores (finally a way to avoid playing translated games... I just can't stand experiencing media not in their original form. I make an exception for books, though. For example the polish translation of Harry Potter is brilliant and it incorporates fan feedback, the polish version of Pratchett's Discworld series is also stellar) I love playing indie and roguelike games, because let's face it. The mainsream gaming industry rarely does games with scope and lots of content and to be honest 3d graphics make me feel like I'm seasick. Dungeon Crawl, Tales of Maj'eyal, Dominions 3 and now Academagia are the type of games i really look forward to. Where every race/faction/college or whatever is completely distinct from the other, where the devs think of everything. Some mainstream games also fit the bill. I mostly play RPG and Strategy with Fallout, Baldur's Gate, the Master of Orion series, Civilization 4 or Alpha Centauri being favorites. Mostly old games as you see. As for books, A Song of Ice and Fire is at the top, closely followed by HP and Tolkien. I also read Discworld, Rothfuss' Name of the Wind, Lynch's The Gentleman Bastard series and Butcher's Dresden Files series. Musically I'm a big fan of Muse, Metallica, SoaD, Rammstein and a surprising amount of bands from Wales. (Catatonia, Manic Street Preachers) hence my nickname (Wales = Cymru in Welsh) Also it's refreshing to be a part of a forum that has such a pleasant atmosphere and where the devs answer all questions. Nice to meet you all.
  5. Right forgot to read the stickies, thanks. Also there seem to be some spells that exist only in stories but not in game. Like the Lantern of Many Hues (from Main Adventure - City Guard), a list of those would be nice too for writing purposes.
  6. Basia Rydz is 100% Polish and Jere Niemela is 100% from Finland for example.
  7. Is there a list of gods by name and portfolio? Both old and new preferably. Also since i never managed to slip by the guards into the wedding feast during that particular holiday i don't know anything about how weddings look in Elumia. Specifically what priest of what god would perform the ceremony and what would it look like. (yeah it's related to my random skill for random event thing...)
  8. 'You tried to increase Patience but your skill is already at it's maximum' But if we got year 2 we could increase it a bit... hehe
  9. Isn't Demi-Tour described as initiative in-game?
  10. Yeah the exam is just a simple product (as in multiplication) of Parent skill and Study skill. So i always know what my scores will be. Strange, it should have some randomness involved.
  11. I was wondering if it's intended to know about the Avila and Vernin skills just because you are taking History as one of your classes. I'm in Aranaz.
  12. I think none of them gives a random skill max. Randomness always makes me like something more.
  13. Then maybe all rolls should be described the same way as they are in spells. It would be nice to know because it would allow to calculate precisely how many point we need to get from red to green. (for example you have red at 10 skill and 3 attribute, increasing skill by 6 would be automatic green)
  14. Are all skills rolls in events/adventures tied to the dominant attribute of the skill? I know spells have various combinations of skills and attributes on rolls so it's only natural to suspect something like that in other areas of the game.
  15. I think there is no backround as of now that gives a skillmax increase, so there needs to be one. By the way, all those new skills added in the DLCs also have 11 levels of unlocks?
