Hello, My game is crashing every time I choose the "adventure" action and click the yellow timepiece icon in the bottom right corner. It crashes before going to the validation screen where I can select the location and which adventure I want to do. Error message: "Terrible dark magics have collapsed..." the game auto-restarts correctly afterwards, but the bug persists. Game: Steam version of Academagia (updated). Mods: both First Touch of Summer and Summer's Blush (yes, I now know that I should have selected only the latter ) System: Windows 7 Log (relevant notes start at 28.03.2018): Academagia.log Save file: exploring.ams (this bug now occurs in every other save file for this character, including the one made at the very start of the game. When I created a new character with one, and later both, of the mods enabled the game proceeded normally without the above bug) Notes: The bug began appearing right after the "Dance of Fools" adventure/event. Before validating my actions for the day of the even I had the left character panel open on the the character's skills window. After the event, when I was returned to the day's summary screen the same skills window was open, but it lacked any of the new skills I acquired during the adventure. When I tried to switch to a different panel the game crashed. I reloaded the game and redid the event exactly as I did previously, but now with the character's attribute window selected in the left panel. The game appeared to work, but since then the above bug appears non-stop. Please save my character - you are her only hope (edited: date added)
So, I loaded one of my most successful autosave profiles to look back over my achievements during the course of that game. To my surprise, I saw that the game now allowed me to play further in the year. I did this, through such things as choosing adventures. I attach proof in the form of a save game that I made during that time. If any questions arise, I will be happy to answer them. lushan.ams
I have been investigating familiars. I learned about the Play action, as well as the Explore with Familiar action. So I resolved to investigate how they worked. This involved the following: I reloaded an autosave for my most socially adept character, whose familiar was Mr. Pebbles. This character had a straight 10 in the befriend skill. Then, during Kapsus, I had my character maximize the familiar kinship subskill, after which that character used the play and explore with familiar actions. The familiar indeed became more skilled, and the bond increased. However, the following problematic issues I noticed. 1. Despite all notices in the selection menu showing green (guaranteed success), there were times when the day's log of events showed no gain in any skill or skill step by the familiar. 2. Even when the bond was 5 and the familiar's skill in a given subskill was 4, my character's character sheet revealed no bonus provided to that character from the familiar's skill.
I'm playing the Steam version of the game and experience a program terminating error in duels. Assorted details: Steam version, like I said. DLC 17. Windows 10 (let me know if you want processor info and stuff like that) Duel with Joana. Quietus selected -- I tried "first blood", punched her and had my familiar defend, and everything went fine. I'll use that approach to move the game forward. I set my familiar to defend, queue 4x "bind pheme to palate" , queue a punch and push the "end melee round" button. I get a popup -- "System error occurred. Application will be terminated." Click "OK" and application terminates. Save available. Tell me how to provide it.
