I cannot comment specifically, but islands of that size have been known to travel great distances under the influence of wind, covering tens of miles when under the influence of a powerful storm.

2) Heraldry is a little more evolved in the cities where badges can be used for that purpose, and not only color. It can be very confusing to an outsider.

3) Elumian society is far more enlightened than it's real-world counterpart. That said, homosexuality is looked upon with disfavor by the nobility, owing to the difficulties involved in maintaining family lines. It's probably somewhat insulting, but not to the degree it was. Or as deadly. :)

1) Will we get some more Steampunk technique in this game beside the steamships?

i.e. combining a steam engine with magic could make it strong enough to even move something like a panzer on land and with gunpowder already invented simple rockets could be the weapons (frontloading cannon would be difficult to work out)

1. If suggesting that dragons understand astrology is blasphemy, does this mean that it is illegal for any mage or scholar to suggest that such a thing happens?

2. Similarly, is it illegal to investigate the magical basis for dragons' not understanding astrology? would this be seen as intruding upon divine blessings?

3. Where do dragons fit into the human-centred theology of the Empire of Man? are they seen as demons? rebels against gods who wanted to create the world for humans? accidents in divine creation? could one get into trouble for discussing the role of the gods as sources of both good, love, justice, etc., and dragons?

1. Are there any superstitions about the link between a mage's personality and the familiar the the mage attracts?

2. is there any link between a mage's personality and the familiar the the mage attracts?

3. When Icanix and Kazus colleges were around, did they often co-operate with Morvidus College in summoning, controlling, and caring for creatures?

4. You have said that there is no census of the inhabitants of the imperial reserve (Satyrs, etc.). Are there satyrs who actively try to avoid being subject to a census, for taxation or other reasons?

5. What would the penalty be for a mage caught investigating the magical basis for dragons' not understanding astrology? Would it be lighter for a young student at Academagia?

6. Would I be correct in thinking that Academagia is not the best academy to learn astrology and incantation at?

On 6, You'd never get an admission from them on that. Though it's important to note, that due to how old the school is, and how all-inclusive it is, there's a very real possibility that even in the small chance that it can't quite reach the level of quality that a small group of specialist schools might be able to reach in a given pillar, I think the mages taught at the Academagia would still have numerous advantages to make up for that shortcoming, and honestly, if the student was talented enough, I don't think it would make any difference.

Definitely! ;)

2. Like many things related to the Bond, it's unknown.

As much as any College cooperates these days. ;)

Well, they aren't really supposed to be there...

It would depend on age, but also family, influence and character. This wouldn't be extremely severe- no death penalty, for instance. ;)

They would certainly disagree....;)

What is Disorder the Heavens? I cannot find it listed in the wiki.

It's a new thing, basically an Astrology spell that you can get taught by...something Dragon-y, not necessarily a dragon but at least something dragon related? It's not entirely clear, but there's a reason to put questions next to it regardless.

Legate:

1. How often does the Praetexta court meet under normal circumstances? I imagine that they could have emergency sessions at any time if the need was dire enough?

2. When was the longest-lasting meeting of the Praetexta court, and is the subject of that meeting known?

3. What is one of the best known cases of a Gates pheme being added to a fairly ordinary non-Gates spell and having spectacularly terrible consequences?

4. Did Sabinu Nos get into trouble from the human experimentation that she did? Exactly where does the law fall on these sort of matters in the present?

5. Was Incantation really not known to the Empire before the march of enlightenment? Or was it more that they had unique forms of casting? Can you tell us what year that famous battle took place?

6. Can you tell us how bad the state of the Grand Forge of the Academagia was before that previous Regent Chard repaired it? Was there a lot of resistance to the idea of repairing it?

7. If Grainne and Emilia (Strolin)  were locked in a room together, who would go crazy because of the other first?

8. Since sufficiently realistic animals are very difficult to Incant properly, how often can you tell if an animal is a magical construct just by looking at it?

9. You've said that Professor Knoht is subbing for an extended absent professor. Is she subbing for all of this mystery professor's classes or just basic Incantation?

10. Since the occasional Alumni of Icanicix and Kazus still live, and are even allowed to visit wearing their college crests, I was wondering how the Academagia takes the visitation of such wizards? Do some of them donate to the Academy still?

11. Who pays for the maintenance of Icanicix and Kazus halls, since the closure of the colleges? Were they converted for general use right after the bans? Or were they closed to everyone for a century or so?

12. Are there any phemes which to date are incompatible to be added to any spell? (In other words, no known possible use exists for them)

13. What exactly are the origins of the Bean Festival that Orsi... Dislikes... so much? ;)

14. Would Von Rupprecht eat a magically incanted pie assuming it was decently created? Or does he only eat 'real' ones?

15. Is the magic that negates death affected by how long the dead thing has been... dead?

16. What is the length record for bringing a dead person back to life? Has anyone so revived with negation managed to extend the magic in any appreciable amount of time because they didn't want to die... again?

17. Has there been the case where a dead person was being repetitively revived through Negation to pass on instructions for a business, over a lengthy period of time?

1. How often does the Praetexta court meet under normal circumstances? I imagine that they could have emergency sessions at any time if the need was dire enough?

Weekly, but definitely can be called earlier if need be.

2. When was the longest-lasting meeting of the Praetexta court, and is the subject of that meeting known?

Both are not general knowledge, alas...

3. What is one of the best known cases of a Gates pheme being added to a fairly ordinary non-Gates spell and having spectacularly terrible consequences?

I'll ask. :)

4. Did Sabinu Nos get into trouble from the human experimentation that she did? Exactly where does the law fall on these sort of matters in the present?

That is a good question- I'll have to ask for both, as I only have a part of an answer for the second one.

5. Was Incantation really not known to the Empire before the march of enlightenment? Or was it more that they had unique forms of casting? Can you tell us what year that famous battle took place?

Essentially different ways of casting. I'm not sure on the year- I will check.

6. Can you tell us how bad the state of the Grand Forge of the Academagia was before that previous Regent Chard repaired it? Was there a lot of resistance to the idea of repairing it?

The...er...accidents fell into acceptable limits. :)

There was a lot of resistance to paying for it.

7. If Grainne and Emilia (Strolin)  were locked in a room together, who would go crazy because of the other first?

You would, by watching. :)

8. Since sufficiently realistic animals are very difficult to Incant properly, how often can you tell if an animal is a magical construct just by looking at it?

It depends on the skill of the mage, but generally as easy as looking at animatronics.

9. You've said that Professor Knoht is subbing for an extended absent professor. Is she subbing for all of this mystery professor's classes or just basic Incantation?

All of them.

10. Since the occasional Alumni of Icanicix and Kazus still live, and are even allowed to visit wearing their college crests, I was wondering how the Academagia takes the visitation of such wizards? Do some of them donate to the Academy still?

They do donate. It's a matter of mixed pride and concern.

11. Who pays for the maintenance of Icanicix and Kazus halls, since the closure of the colleges? Were they converted for general use right after the bans? Or were they closed to everyone for a century or so?

They are currently mostly general use, and were converted directly after the Bans. They are paid from the Regent's office.

12. Are there any phemes which to date are incompatible to be added to any spell? (In other words, no known possible use exists for them)

Hmmm. This may be [Redacted].

13. What exactly are the origins of the Bean Festival that Orsi... Dislikes... so much? ;)

No comment. ;)

14. Would Von Rupprecht eat a magically incanted pie assuming it was decently created? Or does he only eat 'real' ones?

Clearly, the answer is [Redacted], and the mage who incanted it would be [Redacted].

15. Is the magic that negates death affected by how long the dead thing has been... dead?

Oh my yes.

16. What is the length record for bringing a dead person back to life? Has anyone so revived with negation managed to extend the magic in any appreciable amount of time because they didn't want to die... again?

Clearly, such matters are [Redacted]. But their return would be incredibly short-lived, if their death happened a long time ago.

17. Has there been the case where a dead person was being repetitively revived through Negation to pass on instructions for a business, over a lengthy period of time?

If there has been, it's certainly not general knowledge!

I think the Bookworms is an exception because it's seen as an opportunity to study, helping take care of the Venalicium's stock of textbooks and all. As for Rikildis' newspaper, it isn't an officially recognized club so much as it's something that she just...does in her spare time.

Also, on students who might want to join an Archery club, Catherine Chard and Corradin D'Alfi. The former sees hunting as a noble's sport (one of the new DLC adventures has her doing exactly that with a bow, even) and Corradin would likely follow in line with her. A bit reluctantly, perhaps, but he would.

I suspect this is why I haven't seen comments about the other 'club' adventures I wrote :(  I thought I was filling a gap when I wrote them, I hadn't realised it was a deliberate void.

1. Would it be illegal in Mineta to publish a book in which a dragon is portrayed as sympathetic or even heroic?

2. Do animals have their own languages and scripts, as the lore associated with Snake-Speaking Stones suggests?

3. Are there students who come to Academagia with unreasonable and/or illegal expectations about the magic that they can learn, or is the popular understanding of gates and mastery strong enough that even Y1 students know that they cannot legally learn how to read minds, teleport, or summon demons?

4. Can year 2 import tool detect edits of background(s) from mods that only change the reward given in a existing background but have nothing else changed and flag the mod then as not needed?

(This way could be problematic when the mod remove a core ability / action from the background but in most case it should be better to flag mods as no longer needed in year 2 if there is just a change in the existing background)

Rhi;

1) In the sense that it would be heretical, yes.

2) Although it's not known definitely, it's thought that at the least they do have their own rough languages and symbology, if not scripts. The Bond has enabled an understanding of a little of that.

3) Most Students will know this entering, but there is likely always a misunderstanding, or a hidden interest, amongst at least one of the incoming Students. :)

Schwarzbart;

4) I don't think it looks for this at all, unfortunately- it only looks to see if the entity exists, and not alterations to its rewards.
