Timelord detected.... but still nope. Just nope. Not my kind of Walküre. All the cognac of france wouldn't convince me to like her.

Cute belle and outfit though.

I'd say the host is hotel yamato, because everyone praises the galley. But since she won't be around for a while I have no damn clue. Just a gut feeling. But probably US Navy. IOWA

I was kinda liking her, but then...

At the beginning of 1937, we were part of the Neutrality Patrol off the coast of Spain- a passionate country, to say the least. They became so tired of peace, they started fighting one another!

Making light of the Civil War is a no-no, I'd say...

Who was the ship that they were hitting golf balls at in one of the interviews? Reason I ask is because I think that is their current host. I remember Mahan saying something along the lines of "I don't want to get our host angry. I don't think she's completely forgiven us for that round of golf." I likely got part of the quote wrong, but that's my guess as to who the host is.

Thing is that in a later interview they fixed the dents caused by it, so I doubt that is the case.

Sounds like the real host was peeved at being used by a golf course and Mahan didn't want to piss her off more.

Frau Host probably was also not very much pleased to be hit by Hiryus golfballs in retaliation for said golfballs.

And Hiryu is apparently NOT afraid to dent the hull of the host. Take note of this funfact gentlemen, that's why she's my favourite carrier so far. ;)

almost guys. In Chiyoda's interview, Chiyoda and Mahan used the air craft carrier Hiryu as a target for their golf driving practice because Chiyoda thought it would be funny. Hiryu was not amused to say the least and, despite Mahan apologizing, at some later date Hiryu had collected all the golf balls and launched them back to our host ship creating dents in the superstructure that the Host asked Hans Ludemann, when she came aboard for her interview, to repair. Which she did during her interview.

Hiryu got irate because it's all fun and games until a golfball breaks a cockpit windshield. :P I doubt it was that much later that she retaliated though...like after Chiyoda claimed the ball was Mahan's shot (I still wonder about that) and before Mahan could apologize and explain why (Hiryu being the target -and likely without her permission-was Chiyoda's idea. I suspect the embarrassment at taking things out on the wrong guilty party is why Hiryu won't be getting over Chiyoda's role in "that round of golf" any time soon).

As for Maille Breze, anyone who abuses the good nature of her crew -especially the deep-dwelling members of damage control- is begging for more trouble than I'm eager to take on.

I like her and all, but I say no to death-wishing. No bastard ever won a war by dying for their country.
