Wonderful! :D

 

I don't mean this as an insult...but is the UI going to improve for the game?  It looked functional...but it also looked a bit cheap.  Just wondering :)

Not an insulting question- that was actually almost all placeholder assets, just to show what the could would eventually be. None of that is production. Except the Belles, of course. :)

Oh!  Thank the Lord!  I mean...it didn't look bad...but it looked kinda cheap.  While gameplay is nice, presentation is also good as well :).

Pretty important, definitely. You can kind of get a sense of what the UI will look like with production assets if you check out some of the Updates- those icons and those backgrounds will be closer to production.

They need more room to hold info and such on the Belle.

Maybe they could have another page that you can toggle between?

Maybe ones that look like the passports but hold the info? And you can turn the pages of the passport to see more info?

That's what *I* would like. We'll see what the UI Designer says, though- you know the Belles off the right? I think that's more of the look & feel of the design they are going for. But I like the history. :)

Ya, keep the passports in some fashion because people enjoy reading that. You could make an archive/gallery for them (typical Japanese game stuff), yet having them on your 'admiral desk' would also be immersive also. More so if you can read it up front after selection.

 

I guess this also might be a no, yet makes me wonder if there's any possibility or room to see your 'Belles' reacting in real time to the threats. Like, actually moving in a gimmicky Sim City 4 type isometric field, or if it'll be more simplified than that. I guess this also works as a light-hearted suggestion for it's for it's not all that important, yet also adds to the gimmicky immersion of neatness.

 

I'll also wait each Friday then.

True, the UI Designer has that job and we don't for a reason, probably wise to defer to their judgement, though I know what I would personally like.

Ya, at this point I'm happy with where the game is going with what we're teased, yet we have to have the game in our hands to try playing it. '39 first, as well as getting it in our hands. If that combat thing is not in, that's fine. Just a little side-desire for immersion.

 

Alright, Not sure what the vestures look or feel like, but I do hope we now see those passports mixed with them on an interactable desk, or something. I'll probably forget about the whole passport thing later so might as well take this all lightly & in jest until then. Same with the gimmicky isometric battlefield stuff. 

 

Alright, shall now try to make this the last Canada related thing.....I do hope Canada as a minor plays as itself because I"m now fearing they're fused with UK (reading the other thread & all throwing me off), 'Victory at Sea' game style. I'd like to be in my own section of the map doing my own thing as my own little nation/map :P. (edit: Guess the context means play as UK, then get Canada on its own, as well as similar nations.)

 

Lastly, overhearing how people hate the NG+ stuff. Hope that's hidden somewhere then because it hit me negatively, and others fully negatively. It ruins the whole fun [for them] which makes them all paranoid right now, even though they didn't play the game. They're used to the KanColle side of things of undated time-line Even when the timeline concludes, and you can stay, it should be hidden somewhere out of sight as to not freak people out. That possible? I share a fraction of that concern.
