powerunderwhelming
Boots felt really out of place to me but I guess it's still better than high heels flippers.
Mignonette
She's super cute! But how did she get down that ship funnel? Von beat me to it, but I had assumed the weird furry boots were related to a coat-of-arms animal for the (D')Aosta family.

Von beat me to it, but I had assumed the weird furry boots were related to a coat-of-arms animal for the (D')Aosta family. The Dukes of Aosta were a cadet branch of the House of Savoy. Their coat of arms was a mere variant of that of the latter.

Historynerd
Found the D'Aosta coat of arms! Ehm... no. That is the coat of arms of the city of Aosta. The coat of arms of the House of Savoia-Aosta is this:
Zuldano
Cool, but...what is that supposed to be, exactly? It looks like a lion (as depicted in heraldry).
Fifrein
that explains the boots. Still, Lion boots. not far below bear boots as far as fantastical footwear goes.
Procyon
Ehm... no. That is the coat of arms of the city of Aosta. The coat of arms of the House of Savoia-Aosta is this: I'm not Italian enough to know ;n;.
Historynerd
I'm not Italian enough to know ;n;. I don't think that it's a merely Italian custom to have cities with a coat of arms, and noble houses that hold a title after the city with different coat of arms. Metis
Never watched anything PotC related except for their (unbelievably out of place) world in Kingdom Hearts II, which I don't recall having tentacle beards on strings. I do recall finding Peter Pan in a chest, but not tentacle beards on strings.
Panay's Ghost
That's a lion Metis, not a leopard with a fake Cthulhu beard. As for D'Aosta, I like her personality but her posture is a little off-putting. I like my lionesses rampant, not dormant.

But you are right. It should be RM, not RN in this case. I correct it.
