Ah, I figured it out. Didn't realize Social Skills was a separate thing to train. Clique formed.

I've been slowly figuring things out via my first playthrough. However, despite getting my Befriend level up to 3 via training, I still don't have that ability and I wonder why. I did notice that under Train my Befriend skill is 3, but under Research in the Skills and Abilities, it's still 0. There's a chick I'm at 8 or 9 relationship with btw.

Nevermind. Did Run as Admin via Properties via Start Menu and it's working now.

Bought the game on Impulse, installed it, and when I start the game, the opening splash screen appears, with the notification "System error occurred. Application will be terminated." No other error message. Edit: I'm using Windows 7 64-bit.
