  1. Oh, oh, sorry. My bad. :\ And I knew that one, too. Oh well. Thank you for the reply, sure feel sheepish now. But now something to look forward to!
  2. I hate to be a bother, and I'm not even sure if I didn't look hard enough, but is there an updated AMO available for mod work? Something that is using all of the updated content? As a reference point, you see.
  3. These were such amazing letters! Oh, and, um, not sure if this was intended, but I just had to point out and jump up and down over the 1776 reference in the first letter (tucked under her chin, bows, knows). Yeah. I know this is an old post. But still. :|
  4. Throwing the book out the window? Why didn't I think of that! I enjoy this random encounter, simply because it reeks of Monty Python (in a good way, mind you!). There should be a school club for the benefit of developing silly walks... Ugh! Now I need to know what was in the book. Yelloooow!
  5. Oh dear. It's funny, since in my saves she prefers to defame Aranaz. I guess she's doomed to be cursed! Sounds good, overall!
  6. ...has this weird tendency. I mean, I know that she's a jerk, really, I do. But whenever I'm a student of the Aranaz college, I notice that she likes to defame colleges. Well, not colleges. She just likes to defame her own college. I don't know if she really wants to do that, and I don't know if anyone has already talked about this. But if Aveline is as competitive as I think she is, does she really want to defame her own college? If so, please enlighten me as to why, as I would really like to know the reason for why I must cast Curse of the Bolinbeck on her all the time. Other than the fact that it's fun. Thank you!
  7. This looks like a job for NaNoWriMo. Everybody should try to do this! It'd be awesome. Currently stuck in constant writer's-block mode after seeing Inception, so I'm going to have to pass on putting my horrible creative writing onto paper. At least for now.
  8. Well, you went and did what I just now booted up the mod tools to do. Funny how things work out like that. Downloading/installing now. It'll be interesting to see everything in game, not just in the tools descriptions. I can always have another character suffer through her first year. Thanks. Now I have new motivation to start my Background Point Spam mod, so that everyone can choose as many backgrounds as they wish. For roleplaying purposes, obviously. We can't all be black sheep, after all. Some of us are really nice!
  9. That's the weird thing. I've actually used them, just to see if they would work, and they have. I'm not sure why it that happens, but I did completely spam the backgrounds windows in search of ways to maximize my pointage. :\ I don't know, but the prerequisites don't seem to be working for me. I've been using Work Until You Drop like crazy without having taken the background, and while it's very enabling, it works without the background. That I'm sure of.
  10. Maybe I shouldn't be bringing this up, but since I'm such a stickler... I've noticed some very cool abilities that come with certain background options. Sometimes I choose those backgrounds, sometimes I do not, but it always ends up about the same. Somehow, without choosing the "Page" educational background, I still get the associated action (can't remember the name quite off the top of my head....something service). I also got "Work Until You Drop" (which I use quite frequently), but I never chose that background either. Maybe it's a huge mistake that I'm bringing this up, since who doesn't want free abilities? And I don't know if somebody already said this. I'm not sure how the game works, true (haven't been spending as much time as I should with the mod tools), but I'm pretty sure this isn't supposed to happen.
  11. I'm slightly ashamed to say that I first discovered this game through looking for games on a pirating website. However, I loved it at first play and bought it on Impulse. Clean now. Don't do that piracy junk anymore, corrupts the computer. Among other things.
  12. The torrent works great, so far. Happily plugging along with the download as we speak (write? read? hmm?).

    Mod Tools

Ah, I was not swift enough and did not check back in time. Curse you, rapidshare, curse you... *shakes fist*

    Mod Tools

Hmm...the Mod Base has been fixed, but the AMO has also reached its ten download limit.
  15. I got this one, and, honestly, I didn't know it was fan-made. It was pretty hilarious. Yeah, I tried to figure out what sort of enchantment was on it, but hey... Free muffin.
  16. Wonderful! All of the joys of having our own content without the pains of bug-squashing and writing in a language no human speaks at three o' the clock in the morning. For now, we'll all just have to sit quietly, calmly, waiting for it....Waiting....Calm.... See, this is why I've always hated Christmas.
  17. Aliquid linguam Romanae in forum dicit. (Excuse my grammar.) Ha. Writing on this thread after...what, fifteen days inactivity? *goes back to check* Nah. Only eleven. Hi there. I'm Solfege, or the Queen Weasel Solfege if you prefer a title. I actually hate solfege and use it as little as possible, really. I can never keep the hand motions down... I'm a current senior in high school, enrolled in AP Computer Science and all that jazz, and I feel really cheated since they changed the curriculum from C++ to Java. Guess that's for the best, though, so that I can learn programming before I dive headfirst into the shallow pool that is C. That's a metaphor I'd rather not try to dig too deep into. My first gaming experience was when I was around two or three years old, probably two, with the games "Mickey's ABC's - A Day At The Fair" and "Mickey's 123's -- The Big Surprise Party". My first programming experience was when I was eleven, changing the values (price, repair, experience) of all of the items and characters in School Tycoon. With this discovery came a feeling of empowerment. So that's why I'm the computer geek I am today. (Bless you, CatDaddy Games, you and your ini files.) I love Academagia and all of the people who made it (even if I don't know any of them, not even by name), especially the content writers who seem to have nailed my sense of humour in a game perfectly (a week of gameplay takes me a few hours since I read everything, and I freely blame my ADD). I write/talk too much.
