Learning about this shows a blank screen, with no description.

Hmm- everything looks alright with the Item in the game. Out of curiosity, where does this blank screen appear? In the Feedback window from raising a Skill Level? It's possible that you've learned a Recipe, but without an Item it is displaying blank.

By the way, if possible, could you put further reports in the DLC 10 thread:

It shows up as a result after my character attending a class in Calligraphy. I don't see it under Items, but it does show up under Recipes.
