Mod messing up selecting characters?

I'd been using Zelifis' cheat mod for awhile, and also having a glitch where I couldn't select two of the DLC16 students (Antonio and Louise, if it matters) for anything, and until a little while ago I didn't put those two together. When I realized that it was causing the glitch, I decided I'd make my own, because maybe since it was made with an older version of the mod tools or something, and there were a few things I wanted to add to it anyway. But my version is causing the same thing? I was wondering if anyone would take a look at it and maybe see what's wrong with it?

I've noticed that more than a few mods have been screwy recently. All the same, formalities: What ability/action/spell are you using, what is the list of mods you have loaded and in what order, does it effect all DLC 16 students (you're missing Aaran and Miya, BTW) or only those two, does the problem persist with other abilities/spells/actions what have you that can target a fellow student?

 

EDIT: Oh, and game version. That's kinda important. Use F12 if you don't know which one you have.

I'm using version v0.63.3.0, and I've tried it with other mods and just it and DLC16 and it doesn't work in either case, and I always put DLC16 first, and this mod second. It only effects Antonio and Miya (i used the wrong name in my last post), and I can't select them for anything, not spells, actions, or abilities...

So when using other mods and not using the cheat mod you have the same problem?

Do the other mod you using to test also change or add a ability, spell or action where you can select a NPC Student?

 

Keep in mind we only can use Academagia 1.0 and a broken Mod Tool while BCS adjusted the engine a few DLC back for a other mod tool only they have access to.

My Mini Mods are not affected from unexpected bugs so far to my knowledge but that might change with the next release.

I personal expect the update for Steam will finally break all mods we created so fare as it was announced they rework the mod load part for it.

When using things like your class fix mod, they show up. The other mod I'd been using in testing doesn't change any actions where you select other students. I'm pretty sure the other one only adds a few items to a location. I might have added something else to it and completely forgot about it, though. I'll have to wait until at least this evening to check though, because I'm publishing v1.2 of my chest mod, and my poor computer can barely handle running one instance of the mod tools, much less two and the actual game.

 

And if turns out not to be fixable with the current tools, I'll live with it. I've already done Antonio's adventure anyway, I can live without doing Miya's. (I could also just not cheat, but tbh that's probably not going to happen.)

I personal think items are to bugged if we change or add them via mod. At last in our try to do some bug fixes I encountered serious problems with the item slot unlock used with the item type of the changed item.

I haven't had a chance to do much testing in the item mod, mostly I just checked to see if the items actually showed up and not if they worked properly.

 

I'm thinking of adding a few actions to expand the relationship with random students of their colleges as a workaround. Do you think there would be a reason it wouldn't work?

I can only tell from my own expirience with the mod tool and that some things that I thought would work out fine even end up in crash the game.

(The crash still happened after a complete clean up of all the temporary files Academagia stores at different places.)

Because the mod tool are delivered as it there is no real support from BCS.

What you have to make sure when testing mods is that the file name and properties are to be changed between each new test!

And never forget to change the properties as leaving it at the default value is a sure way to encounter unexpected problems up to crash your game if you use/used other mods.
