Was wanting to mention F/GO, just that (from my POV) it would also take away & ruin the whole 'fleet' fun when you you're given one, not a whole fleet of 6. My mind is still set on the way 'Victory at Sea' does its reinforcements that I believe the same should work in this game. Both you and your buddies would have to 'shadow' one another's movements, or something, to then be given a chance to join up.

I guess F/GO style would work, if you think more Muv-Luv style anime stuff. When thinking of how vessels are 'reassigned' or 'borrowed', I could see it working. If we do go F/GO side then I guess it could also be up to 6 Belles from friends for those more challenging maps. If you don't have friends then just do F/GO randomization + PSO2 randomization also. Just pull a group of people up, as mentioned previously in this thread :)

That, then somehow merge it all with VAC's reinforcements.

For the most part, it's to allow players to use the rare 5* Servants if they don't own it :).

I actually don't like this. It goes back to the problem of people choosing only other players with good ships to add to friend and those who are new gets neglected.

I would suggest something that might not affect battle directly(even though it would be cool) or limit it in some way so that people won't only add players with a good fleet.

Another way to help player interaction and let players help each other is to let players help out in repairs. Maybe reduce repair time by a few % when a friend help with repairs.(only 1 help/repair ofc)

Also, trading is an interesting idea but one that could easily be misused. A player could just make multiple accounts all dedicated to gain resource(in case there's a passive resource gain like in KC) and fund their main account using those resources.

I don't want to sound like a killjoy but BCS must be careful when adding features. Always assume that people will try to misuse any feature you put in the game.

As Microsoft learned recently to their chagrin. Poor Tay... :(

Alas the sad rule of the internet, if something is exploitable it shall be exploited.

That's good advice! I've seen games get ruined from not listening to customers...and listening too much to customers. There should be a balance :).

Procyon;

Well, the Team takes everyone's input, but just like our UI discussion- we have some folks dedicated to that. I'm just the moderator. :)

Of course! Your job is to prevent us on the forums from going insane / stabbing others / bring in tanks :D.

You're where I've so far gotten most of my confirmation about game content. Since you're a mere forum moderator I hope you don't get in trouble for any "leaks." Then I'd lose a helpful friend.

Then keep more secrets! I do not mind. I will have to wait until 2017 anyway, there is little I can do with the secrets you spill until the beta comes out and I will have to wait even longer for Willie Dee! It matters not if you hold a little away from us. Besides, what fun would it be if there wasn't a little challenge?

I feel like it would be better if it mostly stayed within the boundaries of your own fleet, core gameplay-wise. Having played (and still play) a few mobage, the eventual need to be picky with who you let assist you with limited slots is not one I'm a fan of, especially if you add in the support point system and the possibility of being carried. Sure, a small boost to repair times or a small percentage increase on a resource multiplier perhaps, but my main dislike is the non-equality that comes with support system, for both sides. That said, I'm going off the mobage system and making a few assumptions not mentioned in the thread but have to do with the mentioned games. I would like to see serious balancing if this idea does come to pass. It's not a large issue by any means, but between having it and not, I'll go without.

Hi ho!

I'll be honest - i was hoping for a minor ally influence but one that wouldn't be directly influenced by the unit's power.

I was thinking more on the term of being equal regardless of power, but different in the bonuses they give. For example, Belfast's personality can raise the crew's morale, increasing HP by, say, 5%. On the other hand, Velasco's hasty nature will rub off on sailors as well, increasing the fleet's speed by 5%.

Then we can have trading of common resources (akin to Monster Hunter's trading system, with items of rarity 3 and higher being untradable), with a little penalty on shipping due to the dangerous seas. This could even create extra escort missions in which you help an ally with the trading process, fencing off Morganas. Could even raise your connection with an ally and increase said ally's bonus.

I created these with a bit of flair on my mind, so i know they might not be the best ideas. Do be constructive if you're scrapping me, though ^_^
