I thought the video tutorials were great. I plan on buying the game after the patch is released this weekend, and I now feel much more comfortable with the prospect of starting the game, armed with the overview of the features and interface that the tutorial provided.

 

I was going to suggest that you post a link to the tutorial on your Admissions page, but I took a look this morning and saw that this has already been done.

 

I'm really looking forward to experiencing the game for myself.

I was wondering if you might do a guide for crafting/Artifice? I understand that a new system (or something along the lines) might arrive with the 3rd DLC, so maybe a guide that took post 3rd DLC as a frame of reference?

Legate I'm sure you really busy doing other stuff, but what do you think about doing some video walkthroughs on some of the more "advanced" stuff. For example, I really want to a guy based around item crafting, but I am really having a hard time understanding it.

 

Futhermore, a walkthrough on some of mechanics would be nice also. How spell casting and skill rolls are really made, how buffs work, and maybe throw in somewhere that we should save before the end of the year if we want to continue on to year 2 It would be nice if there was an auto save for that too

 

Just an thought and if it doesn't happen I'm sure the info will make it to either the forum, wiki or both at some point.

As far as I aware, it is, yes. At least, we haven't had any problems in test.

 

The real difficulty is finding your ingredients.

I'm not quite sure I understand what you are asking?

 

Oh, *Recipes*- no, that issue isn't corrected yet. It requires a save game serialization change, so we're waiting for another major update before we roll that out.

Yes thats what I was asking. Because without Recipes where you dont have the item already crafting isnt realy usfull.

I did make an item now. (Before I always CTD when using artisan. I'm not sure which patch fixed it.) The interface maked it look like if you had lots of ingredients you could make more than 1 item, but it only allowed me to make 1.
