Schwarzbart
The relationship between a vampire baby and its first food might be an interesting ingame experiment. Because I'm personal curios about the result when this first food survive I only go this far with my suggestion ^^. (it could be that the baby see this human then as something like a parent or "just" as good food ^^)
Legate of Mineta
Dark, but interesting.

So, I was thinking that a dark short adventure could have thieves' guild recruit Miya Hikari being assigned to give a dead cat to an orphanage owner as a threat - and the PC would help her to deliver this "gift". Legate of Mineta
Also dark, but interesting.
Rhialto
@Legate of Mineta: One improvement for classes for Y2 would be to have the day's log of events report whether the PC advanced a skill step in a subskill by attending class rather than merely reporting upon gains from advancing a skill or subskill level in class. Do my words make sense?
Legate of Mineta
Rhi; They do, great idea.
Rhialto
@Legate of Mineta: How long would it take to implement such a change?
Legate of Mineta
Rhi; I'm not qualified to say, unfortunately.
Rhialto
@Legate of Mineta: The Silent Lady could be given the name Dido. A short name with two syllables like her brother's and keeping with the Carthaginian theme of the name Hanno.
Legate of Mineta
Hehe, I'll pass it along.
Rhialto
@Legate of Mineta: Would it be all right if I were to write a Y2 adventure involving controversy about carrying ancestors' bones and ashes in amulets, or would that be too ghoulish? The people doing this would be foreigners to Mineta.
Legate of Mineta
Sure! That would awesome.

In practice, who knows. It's not an often used mechanic. Will obscurity play a larger role in Y2?
Legate of Mineta
Rhi; It plays a similar role, but it's importance is more or less up to how you play, and how your enemies play...;)
Schwarzbart
If year 2 keep the timed function it should be possible to make a simple simulation of the growth of plant & animal in the game. Especial if you have something to do for the healthy growth, without costing a new timeslot, every few days / week it might add a new aspect to the game. Legate of Mineta
S; There isn't quite an aspect to the game like that now, but it's a very interesting idea.

Schwarzbart
@Rhialto from my understanding is it planed that year 2 have the ability to make a forced continue after a set number of days for events and adventures (and probably action & ability as well)
Legate of Mineta
S; It does, but it is for Stories- so, may be a little difficult if it's not intended for the Player to be forced to go visit the garden. If it is, then it's fine.
Raydestroyer
Hey legate, could you tell the team to add an ability in where you can lend more then 1 attribute to your familiar per turn? I really don't wanna have to use 15 turns to boost all of Pamela's attributes to
Legate of Mineta
Ray; Hahaha, well, I'll pass it along, but...;)
Schwarzbart
I think the forced event / adventure system also need to handling for when the player fail to attend the event/adventure i.e. because (s)he is sick, have hall sessions or decided to spend the timeslot on something else. So I think it would be good if in the editor there 3 exception handlings (1. sick 2. detention / hall session 3. set something else in the timeslot in case it need the full timeslot) to set what penalty the player get and if there is a try again/ continue in how many timeslot
Legate of Mineta
S; Y2 does account for that, kinda- but it's probably going to be a save/load situation, since you won't want to miss the events.
Rhialto
@Legate of Mineta: An interesting idea for an adventure with Louise - a young man or boy from Staade shows up in Mineta, trying to get the PC to help him meet Louise. When he meets Louise, he reveals that he is under the impression that there were romantic feelings that developed between them during the summer vacation. Louise tells him (helped by the PC, who can guide her into various emotions and expressions), that he misinterpreted her feelings. Possibly this adventure could end with Louise confessing (only to the PC!) that she does not understand why women are attracted to men.
