Rhialto
@Legate of Mineta: Could I write a Y2 summer vacation event in which Sima uses dream magic to communicate with the PC, or would that be beyond her skill level?
Legate of Mineta
Rhi; As usual, feel free! The Team may edit, depending.
Rhialto
@Legate of Mineta: May I, in my writings for this game, have Sima imply that she knows secrets about Reitz? They share a college and interests in hidden artifacts, and Sima likes to seem mysterious and ethereal - if my interpretation of her be right. Metis
If A Summons to the Great Gate is any indication she probably does. Reitz doesn't seem like the kind of person who'd be able to keep a secret from Sima, at any rate.

Rhialto
@Legate of Mineta: Has any thought been given to having a fight club that the PC could join in Y2 or later years?

Rhialto
@Legate of Mineta: Would it be all right if I were to write a line in an adventure that would be a subtle allusion/reference to Scherazade Keating? It would be along the lines of, "a blonde Oncestrian archaeologist who is fascinated by gymnosophists".
Legate of Mineta
Hahaha, sure! I imagine the Team would be amused.
Rhialto
@Legate of Mineta: May I write for this thread a proposal for how this setting could handle Madagascar? I have some great ideas for how a Madagascar could fit in, inspired by reading some commentaries about Taranatha (a Tibetan heresiarch whose doctrines I condemn even as I admire his scholarship), your comments that there is no Tibet-analogue in this setting, and my fascination with the Scohanwicht School and Buddhist-Christian relations during the 17th-century. Yes, I have diverse interests, lol.

Rhialto
@Legate of Mineta: Would it be permissible to have Miya use the Japanese word gaijin in the medieval sense of any outsider, rather than a foreigner?

Rhialto
@Legate of Mineta: A suggestion for Louise Kandinski (for Y4 or Y5?): she and the PC meet with a mysterious person who encourages her to embrace her sexual orientation - but in the end the person is revealed as an agent from another branch of her family that hopes that with Louise as a childless woman, they will inherit her estate. Legate of Mineta
Rhi; That's a pretty fascinating take on orientation, I think that's super Machiavellian.

Rhialto
@Legate of Mineta: So, for my adventure with Zoe Melis and Eliana Carosi, I am having Zoe express a stereotype about Morvidus college that I have never seen mentioned within the game - but that seems to be appropriate: that members of that college are unhealthily obsessed with strange and often unpleasant things. Would this be a reasonable angle for Zoe (and perhaps other people?) to have?
Legate of Mineta
LOL! Sure.
Rhialto
@Legate of Mineta: Could I do a random event involving Mr. Pebbles, Zoe Melis, a male PC, and a subtle reference to the novel "The Story of the Stone", by Cao Xueqin - a novel also involving a sickly girl and an intelligent stone (smarter than Mr. Pebbles, though). Legate of Mineta
You'd better ask @freespace2dotcom on that one.

Rhialto
@Legate of Mineta: 1. Will Familiars ever get their own time slots, so that the player can control the PC and familiars' actions at the same time? Something similar is already done with NPC students. 2. Will new NPC students be introduced for Y2? 3. What is the minimum number of new courses for Y2?
