I've read some things add plusses to glory? What is glory?

Glory is a hidden stat that measures your personal exploits at the Academy.

 

As to what it does...that would be telling.

 

One thing it *does* do right now is explosively increase your rate of success at Actions. Patch 2 deals with that.

Most of the rest are for your fellow Students, and govern how they react to certain situations. There are a few that you can increase- Chance of Sucess, Chance of Failure, as well as a few others.

Does Glory affect chance of detection when we skipping class? Because in later months, we get caught like crazy even with 0 in Conceal and Encumberance. The early months we can skip with some ease.

There is an effect, yes, but predominantly it's because you skipped early. If do not skip in the first half, you can skip with relative ease in the second, for instance.

Can glory go negative, and does negative glory have any interesting effects?

It can, but it doesn't have any effect in Y1.
