1 - Will the college special skills gain research topics on year 2? ( Pride of a Rebel Queen, Manner of a Campion and the others) So far, only Legacy of Many Towers has it.

I think they will get them in Y1, in DLC 17. ;)

2 - Numerology will also gain a reasearch topic?

Yes.

3 - Is there Cockatiels in the settings?

Almost certainly yes!

4- Is there a legendary item that reveal the location to Schohanwtich school if you pick yhe Mtysterious Package background? i thought it was a key but havent found on legendary itens thread.

Hmm, you will have to search for Spoilers...;)

5- Can you find Schohanwtich via Explore action?

I don't think so, but I may be wrong.

6- For the players that did Basya adventure and help her cheat, does that have any effect on the exam scores?

Y1, no, but there may be an adjustment in Y2.

7- Regarding the worship of the Old Gods, would be more likely to appear later if you picked the Religious background, or would be in a different situation? I was not sure from this post

No, it would be separate as a Background, I would think.

Slave/Servant: There are indentured servants (and serfs) in Elumia, but no slaves. Slavery still exists in Oursouk and Teique, however, and presumably further east as well.

1) How is this looking for non humans are there still non humans held as slaves?

2) Are there people living in a relationship that is close to slavery in that they get to few money from their work that they never can pay of the dept they have?

3) Are there words that pirates sell their prisoner as slave? After all there still some country where they can even legal sell them.

4) Do some Noble give out letter of marque?

I haven't tested this, but according to the wiki, just by knowing about The Obranabú Library and The Great Lecture Hall at Schohanwitch, you unlock two research topics.

These lores you unlock could be useful for those that did not picked Schohanwitch but still wanna be good at Gates. Thats the main reason i would ike to find these locations.

Okay, i found the info that was here before The House in the Bog adventure was created.

So it seems its a key afterall. The legendary itens thread appears to be missing a item. These folks talked about using these locations aswell so you can get visitation rights without the adventure.

Oh, you want them for research topics? Certainly, that'll work just fine, it's the abilities tied to the locations that require Visitation Rights.

Well, mechanically they're located in Elumia Proper. What I don't know is if Explore Difficulty 999 means "theoretically impossible to find", "practically impossible to find" or "completely impossible to find".

It is? I checked mod base 3 as well as the 1.0.0.0 .amo and there isn't a Portal Key in either version that I can find. Particularly, when Euneycia gives you the Portal Key during the House in the Bog adventure the game doesn't hand you an item. It does add a memory, but, well, that's not something you can get with the Mysterious Package.

No, although it's certainly more common for them to be in disadvantaged circumstances.

Yes.

Yes.

No, not *officially*, but unsanctioned piracy to a purpose is common. Around Mineta, the usual source is Cassatta.

I think it would also actually depend on who you are pirating. (what country's goods are you stealing.) I hold to the opinion that the pirates in game are just misunderstood music lovers. hehe.

In my opinion she doing very good as Avila Regent given the pressure she get to make it girl only from the people pledge money to this college.

From what I read in the lore and adventures nearly all the money she have available for Avila is bound to go towards the girls.

That's the reason why its extreme important to find new income sources for this declining college that can go toward the boys.

Given this, sure there might be the chance for a new Regent but I'm 100% sure it even get worse as the new Regent don't know how to handle the request from the parents (proper lady education) and the people donating money to Avila.

Edit: Beside if there have to be a new Regent its the people giving money to Avila who are the one choosing him or her and not the Students.

I personal think right now Avila only survive as college because of the proper lady education and as mentioned above it comes from the people giving money to the college as they absolute want to eliminate the boys from this college! If Astrology might gain some fame as magic again, right now its spurned, then this might change but I don't see a other way this college might go on at moment.

I think the college needs boys too, to survive in an era where it's no longer considered worthy of full attention. Poor Kate is trying to compromise to keep funding, but there's going to need to be a breaking point. Once the College gets enough male alumni to beg donations from, I think the situation will (at least start to) normalize. once it's realized that the boys are going to get money anyway the pressure on Badcrumble will be aleviated somewhat, even if not fully.

1. Legate, Can you explain why some of the powerful Mastery magic is said to be damaging to the user? Does this phenomenon apply to the other pillars eve in small amounts?

1) No comment. ;)

2) No, only one.

3) [Redacted]. Also, it's strongly recommended that you do not try it...

4) I'm not sure.

5) it's generally unknown...

6) Mildly hostile.

7) No.

8) Myths yes, but none known.

9) each class, but no definite score needed yet.

Free;

It's any powerful magic, not just Mastery. However, [Redacted.]

Schwarzbart;

The midterm and the final test different amounts of knowledge, but it's overall different from Y1.

That's strange, since there's several adventure stages listed in the mod tools that, if removed, would break the game horribly. Predictably, when you have these stages selected the "delete" button is greyed out. I suppose this calls for an ingame test, but, eh, kinda late here right now so... -_-

Thanks for the info Isador :)

I have found the Portal key in the wikia, it is indeed a legendary item and thus qualify for the mysterious package, it is not listed in the mod tool tho. The Rest action is not listed too, so maybe they just dont want the players to mess with because it could break the game or just because they wanted to. Now to roll a game with both the Lychnus constellation and the said key would be like betting on the lottery so it does not seems worth.

There's also this ability: Determine the next Step to Schohanwicht Entry. ;)

Which, according to Euneycia's Haven, accomplishes absolutely nothing as every ability is tied to memories unlocked through either the Secret Heritage background or the associated adventure. Again something that really calls for an ingame test, but...guess who's not feeling like reloading until the Mysterious Package hands out what I want it to hand out because someone can't code a quick mod to drop the item in my lap. Also, "code a quick mod" would take 6 to 8 hours. Cé la vie -_-.

Is it possible to give a permanent decrease of a attribute trough a adventure?

You can permanently decrease skills, I don't see why you couldn't decrease attributes. In fact I vaguely recall one adventure reducing an attribute if you failed. Worst come to worst you can just add a permanent ability with the effect of "reduce attribute".

It does tough... . I've already tryied it: http://academagia.invisionzone.com/index.php?showtopic=512&page=166

The troublesome thing is to discover the school the rest is doable without cheat altough I wonder if that ability was designed with that in mind...

(note that the ability implies that you discovered the school but have yet to get "visitation right").

HAHAHAHA !! FOUND IT !!

I have discovered the path to the forsaken school for the untainted !!.

1) Okay so first create a character without the "Secret Heritage" background (duh).

2) Then here is the tricky part you have to discover the "Shohanwicht School" location. (the chance of discovery seems to be 0...).

( I have to admit I have cheated in this one as i was looking to the path the ability mentioned earlier lead me to believe this was the prerequisite to obtain that abiliy in the first place and I was right !!)

3) After discovering the school, you will get the "Determine the next step to Shohanwicht" ability. If you succeed you will be informed of "Eunycia's haven" location.

4) You have to use a certain number of action/ability in "Eunycia's haven" instead of the character room on any other location. ( I used 3 study action the same day to unlock 5)

5) You will finally get the "A house in the swamp" adventure. Just like the characters with "The Secret Heritage" play the adventure. :D

Damn I am so pround of me, I feel like someone from the Specialist serie (of Las Vegas of course  ). I should have become a police inspector. :(:D

Anyway I have noticed a bug, the first time i unlocked the adventure that way it was already in the third stage. I used numerous time the "Determine the next step to Shohanwicht" ability (it doesn't disapear even if you succeed tough maybe after playing the adventure?) and the "study" part trying to find a way to get the abilities. (I didn't realize at first that it unlocked the adventure thoughtat first it unlocks directly the abilities... when I found out i reloaded to find the correct path).

This entire thing smells of an obsoleted back door into Schohanwicht that was left in after A House in the Bog was added. I'll note that in 1.0.0 that adventure did not exist, and Schohanwicht had an exploration difficulty of only 29. Currently, unless DLC 16 changed it, you're looking at an ED of 999. I suspect that finding it without cheating is meant to be impossible, and as a result cheating it in triggers a bunch of unclean code that, since it's based on an obsoleted function, actually works to some extend. I highly doubt this back door into Schohanwicht was intended as opposed to a series of bugs.

I guess Gates magic really is dangerous...

Legate, In the Adventure "If Hearing is Believing" The man in black with the bow and arrow is Stryker, isn't it? Amazing what you can uncover when you're more knowledgable in the lores.

It makes too much sense for it to not be him and it adds bit of interesting development if so.

Great finding :). I had forgotten about that adventure, and even tho only the legate could give an *official* answer, they are indeed the same, as we can see from the adventures.

If Hearing Is Believing

"man, head to toe in black, casually reclining on a large tree limb, a bow in one hand and arrow in the other."

Exploring for the Sake of... um....

"man, head-to-toe in black, reclining lazily on a nearby tree branch with bow and arrow at the ready".

And in a quote where he says

"All you need to know is that I’m in service of this fine learning institution and, ultimately, yourself while you remain a student"

The way it was written, gave me the impression that, by ultimately you, he really meant especially you, since it was written in italic among a few other reasons.

Wait this means our char is under constant surveillance as soon we are leaving Academagica in any direction? That's not good at all for our that chars learning the forbidden magic (or making a pact with a evil book)
