Schwarzbart
A Friend of mine just have told me that he wasn't able to start any of the games he own with the release preview of win8. Have you tested Academagia Year 1 and the Secret Project already with it?
Legate of Mineta
Schwarzbart; No, as far as I know, we haven't looked at Windows 8 at all! That's...interesting news.
Schwarzbart
Will Test taking get a good place in year 2 and up also? Because in year 1 this Skill have a extrem focus on Study and it was already mentioned that Study have no real effect in year 2.
CremePudding
How common are musical Conductors / Maestros? Will that be a music subskill in Year 2? (Mostly because I have half a mind to write that )
Schwarzbart
Could a player char that focused on Music (all SS 10+ Study 10 and Master of Music) join the Troubadour from his skill already or would he still laking for this.

Because in year 1 this Skill have a extrem focus on Study and it was already mentioned that Study have no real effect in year 2. I suspect that you still have to Study in year 2 - it is just that your Study Level from Year 1 cannot carry over to Year 2. The importance of Study Level will probably slowlyy decrease over the years just like in real school where exams become more about making good use of your skills / knowledge and less memorizing. Schwarzbart
Creme Pudding I ask because of this answear Schwarzbart; I don't think so, no- that may be DLC 16, although there is a slight possibility it could appear in 15. We are going to try, as much as possible, to allow mods to go forward into Year 2, and what you suggest *probably* won't be an issue in any event as you are adding a Familiar already in the game. Secret Project is coming along swimmingly! No, Study is for Year 1 Subjects only. It's only impact going forward, as far as I know, is your Exam score. CremePudding
Creme Pudding I ask because of this answear Hmmm, I thought that mean the Study in Year 1 won't carry over to Year 2 as opposed to all Study-related things being removed in Year 2. Schwarzbart
I doubt this because then you would loose such things as Study Mastery and other Feats you got in training Study. Also if you change a class you probably should learn the study obejcts for year 1 also.
Legate of Mineta
Studying will be a part of Year 2, as well, and your Study Levels for Year 1 won't be applicable. In other words, you'll need to start fresh again for your Classes. Sorry! New Subjects, new Instructors. You won't lose your gained Abilities and Lores, however. Schwarzbart
How are you handling people in year 2 who change theyr class skills to topics they have negleaced so fare. Would they expected to have push them to the level of year 1 100% score till midterm or are there different level of expections depending at what level you started? Legate of Mineta
Schwarzbart; As far as I know, expectations do not differ. If you enroll in a Class, you are expected to have the same performance as any other Student. I believe you have to take an exam to prove you belong, though, so that may cover it. Schwarzbart
Oh, wow so short bevore the summer break the chare have to write a exam and then at the start of next year again, or is this only for people who change theyr topics/are new year 2 chars (or even do now more classes then in year 1 ^^)? Legate of Mineta
Schwarzbart; Only those who are taking Classes that they do not have the Prerequisites for. There are more Classes available than in Year 1, and in Year 2 I believe you can take up to 8 Classes, if you did really well in Year 1. Don't know if you want to do that though, as...phew, you'd have very little time for anything else.
Schwarzbart
At last its still posible to do it within the limit of a day in oposit to what a certain Student of Hogwards have done in a year. ^^ But I will for sure try it even if its not the best idea to do it. Legate of Mineta
Hahaha!
Schwarzbart
But I wonder if it is possible to creat a double from one self, watch 2 different classes (or watch class and do something other) and the remerge the memory of the double bevore the magic ends. (I suspect we cross the boarder to Mastery here but still it sounds like a great idea ^^)
Legate of Mineta
Better save that for Year 5.
Schwarzbart
Chauranglaith Path: Cave gives 1 point Bonuses to all Question-type Actions and Abilities and now I wonder what rolls are affected from this and will repeated calls of this Ability stack? Legate of Mineta
Schwarzbart; From memory, I think there are a couple of 'philosophical' Actions/Abilities which benefit. Wow, it's been a long time.
Schwarzbart
Imperial Reserve Adventure 05 what is the best way to end this adventure for year 1 if you don't whant to fight Ortsov but hope to find a way to get past him in the years to come (like Gate Magic or with a invisible spell ect.) LEave and let live (what leaves this adventure open) or You came all this way, but ... (what ends it at step 5)
Legate of Mineta
I'll point that out.
Schwarzbart
Will Skillmaximum increases will have still theyr full effect in the years to come?
Legate of Mineta
Yep, I believe so.
MadHatt
Does magic have any side effects to the natural order? Like, say, there is a summer with a large drought. You make rain spells for that year. Next year, there is another drought. Again, you cast rain spells. Does this trend modify the weather in any way? A practical real life example would be cloud seeding in which silver iodide or dry ice are dispersed into the air, which alter the microphysical processes within the cloud thus creating rainfalls. Over the years, for example in Dubai, the number of rainfalls has increased. Would magic have the same effect or it's a totally temporary and unnatural process without any lasting effects?
