  1. Part 1 This is going to be one of those days. You can feel it in your guts. Literally. Maybe next time you would choose throwaway the pudding that looks slightly glossy. You also probably shouldn't look away from your meal when you are a short distance from him (Philippe Marchant, naturally). Zorzi must have been helping or bullied into talking to you abouthis love for rimbal in the cafeteria. Now you thought that he looked a little anxious just because his dinner was looking a little…lumpy. Well no use crying over spoilt pudding, you have a class to rush to (which you are late for due to an early morning activity called … bowel cleansing). Running like the winds (Not that one) you hurry on to @Random Professor@'s class all the while begging the gods that you will make it in time without misfortune befalling on to you. Such as the time a bunch of playful pixies put on some very disturbing make-up on your face that smelled of perfumes made from rotten eggs that took you the whole morning to wash off and still you smell like rotten eggs for fewdays. Suddenly you feel as thought someoneconjured a mini earthquake in your stomach. You let out a wet burp and the smell oflast nights delicious chicken fills your nostrils…in a bad way. Exit 1: Concentration orWillpower / Fitness vs. 10 Success: You sit for a second and waited as therumbling and pain in your stomach to subside. Your face twist with the pain, you feelas though the pain has magically turned into needles. Which could be a possibility considering you are in a magic school and that Marchant is a student in Academagia. And just as you thought that the pain would burst out of your stomach, the pain stops and you stand up feeling relieved. With no time to waste you continue rushing to your class which to your delight, has not begun yet. Result: +1 Willpower and +1Concentration Failure: The pain grows in your stomach as if amini volcano has erupted, complete with rumbling motion and sound effects. Or maybe there is a volcano in yourstomach. (Highly improbable but not impossible) You ignore the pain as best as you canbut you fail to watch where you are going until you bump into a tree. The pain quickly stops as you sit down. You reach for your knapsack for some water to refresh yourself. Wait, where is your knapsack? Result: Continue to Part 2 Exit 2: Oh just skip the class for the day The pain is unbearable as you moan aloud and thinking hard on what to do. On one hand you should go to class to avoid having the professor assign you a ton of homework or punish you with some embarrassing task like cleaning the blackboard with a cloth and no magic allowed! But the pain is just too much to bear, right? If the pain does not go away then you have to go to the infirmary, right? That would be a proper reason to miss your classes. You try to hurry backto your dorm, rushing along the path with the wind in your face and swaying leaves that somehow make the pain worse. You hear a growl in your stomach as yousee your college's dorm. Better find a bathroom again. Just as you reach the door into the dormit slams right into your face, leaving you on the ground with a throbbing headache. You will have to spend the day in the infirmary but at least the pain is gone, in your stomach anyways. Result: -1 Vitality, +2 Stress Part 2 You look to your left and right. You look behind you and under you. You even look from the direction of the dorm to theclassrooms. And still no knapsack. Panic starts to well up in you. Is it a ghost? Was there a student nearby? Is there anyone reading your secrets from your diary right now? Or areyou still in bed dreaming this situation? And your journal knocks you on your head.Ow. You look up and instantly recognize the tree. It is a Five-hand tree that you remember from your time with Oan Song. The tree has your knapsack and is now picking through everything in there. Exit 1: Memorization Success: You remember Oan saying that the tree loves to play. What a fun time that was when you helped out another student. In fact it was a fun time when you first saw the Great Hall, the first time you saved the professor, the first time youhave seen a duel, the first time Oan had nearly spooked you out of your socks, the first time you nearly got lost in the market, the first time you nearly hurt yourself opening the secret door, the first time you sneaked into the Imperial Reserve, the first time you nearly wet yourself…during your first year at Academagia at least. Good times. Result: Increase chance ofsuccess for Exit 2 (Playfulness), Feeling Happy Failure: Okay, there was the time when you were lost in the market. No wait, there was the time you and Oan sneaked into the Imperial Reserve. No wait, there was the time where… no that is not it. All you can remember is the crazyadventure you had with Oan that forced you to change your underwear so manytimes in a day. Great fun times. Result: return to options Exit 2: Playfulness Success: You show the tree a fist. The tree didnot respond for a moment and then closes one of its hands into a fist. You showthe tree the number one using your hand again. The tree uses another hand to show you the number one. After you showed it the number two, the tree shows you the number two using yet another hand and then continues to ac tsmart by showing you the numbers three and four using the other hands including the one holding your knapsack. You quickly pick it up and run, all thewhile waving the tree good bye with a big grin on your face. The tree crosses its arms (branches?) Result: +1 Wit, +1Playfulness, Feeling Happy Failure: "Bet you can't hit me, na na nee na" you said, in a childish manner and complete with facial expressions, to the tree. The tree does not move at all so you decided to tempt it some more by shaking your backside to it. And still it does not move. "@Own character's name@, what in the gods name are you doing?!" You quickly turn around and see @RandomProfessor@ standing a few inches away from you. "Morning…professor, I…eh…eh...I was just…eh…"was all you could say under the professor's cold unforgiving stare. Finally the professor gives youdetention for skipping class and making an utter fool of yourself. In addition to a lecture the professorforces you to apologize to the tree which had clearly suffered from your teasing. You are going to get back at Philippe for all this trouble. Result: Detention, +1Playfulness, -1 Relationship with Philippe Marchant Exit 3: Climb + Athletic Success: Without thinking, you quickly climb upthe tree and avoided the swipes of the branches. And then you jumped at your knapsack. The knapsack slips and you rolled acrossthe ground and away from the tree. You did a quick count of your things in the knapsack and heaved a sigh of relieve. The tree seems to be unhappy but you quickly apologize and explain that you are late and the professor would surely make you remember to never be tardy by making you do simple tasks for two weeks…without the use of magic. GASPS. Failure: How hard could it be? You have climbed atree once right? At least one tree before surely? You climb up until you could reach the knapsack and instantly fall back down on the ground as the tree swipes at you. The fall was painful and you are sent tothe infirmary. Well at least the professor can't blame you for missing classtoday. Result: -1 Vitality, +1Stress, +1 Climb And done. Please leave any comments on how to improve this short story. Personal thoughts: Somehow the forums are a little quiet. I could not work in any magic-based options because I am not very clear on how each type would work. Any help is appreciated Yes, Philippe is a bully and should be punish but not in this event, maybe in another one. Because I prefer to bully the bully. This event is meant as a tribute to the first person you meet and befriend and hopefully the DLC will include another Adventure with her.
  2. Thanks again Legate. A very interesting group of gods and goddesses here. Especially when the female children are shown to be a dragon-slayer and a sailor. But is Aemean written in the lore in the game? Because I would like to know why Aemean is rarely worshiped.
  3. Thanks Legate. So can you tell me some of their names and what do they represent? Sometimes it may inspire some people to write events based on them.
  4. A quick question for anyone who knows. How many gods are there in the world of Academagia? And are there specific gods? Say a god you pray to for luck.
  5. Thank You Legate. But why not Philippe? He is a bully and all, so this may be payback for how he treated my previous characters.
  6. This is only my first attempt at writing an event for this game and it is a fairly ambitious one. So prepare yourself for a long read. Part 1 Today you are feeling elated as if someone has cast some sort of happy spell on you. Walking down the corridor today, with a book in one hand and your wand twirled around the other, you can feel the atmosphere around you in this wonderful school. You notice the bright sun outside casting a warm glow as you pass the windows, you feel the excitement as the many students in the corridor talk about classes, spells, adventures (whether a success or a failure) and so on. You are so confident today that you feel as if nothing could go wrong today. Then you notice a small group of older students (Oan’s age perhaps?) discussing something at the corner of the corridor. They seem to be whispering and casting very suspicious glances around, almost as if they are looking for the perfect victim for a prank. Exit 1: Just try another path and ignore what those students are doing. Fearing what they might do could cause you grievous injuries or worse, you decide to take another, longer path to your destination. “Are you really such a coward?” you asked yourself while walking down a quieter and warmly-lit corridor. “Yes, yes I am” you answered yourself. Well fine, you will never know what happens if you took that path but at least you feel safe knowing that it wasn’t you who got hit by the spell those students were going to cast. Poor Philippe. Exit 2: Observation – What are they doing over there? Study their actions, watch their behaviour, and be wary of them if they are going to cause some trouble. Success: One of them (with a mop of hair that resembles a nest for a hen) is holding on to his wand in a way that discreetly shows that he is going to cast a spell. You note the very sly look that occasionally crosses his face when he looks in your general direction. You better be careful as you pass them, because you MIGHT become a victim of his spell. Result: Observation +1, Chance of Success increase, (Proceed to part 2) Failure: You tried hard, really you did, but with all the people moving about you can’t really discern anything about that group of students. The most you could see is the student with a head of hair that reminds you of that nest in the tree, the one with baby birds in it, smell and all. You might as well try your luck and walk along the corridor. Result: (Proceed to part 3) Exit 3: Gossip – What have you heard about during these last few days? Success: You have been keeping your ears open and have picked up on the latest gossips and secret news that have been passed between students. You heard about that special rock Zorzi had found when he tripped in the rimbal field and also about Professor Knoht’s latest attempts to improve herself, which was unsuccessful. Oh and recently these students have created some sort of spell in order to pull a prank on random 1st year students. You better watch yourself. Result: (Proceed to part 2), Listen +1 <-- is this right? Failure: Let’s see. Joana Lio y Rossollo has been bullying some random student AGAIN; Irene Oxina has been keeping an eye on Vettor Conta…. Nope, you haven’t heard anything about some older students doing something horrible to other students Well maybe there is nothing to worry about. Result: (Proceed to part 3) Part 2 Steady now, don’t make eye contact with them, don’t make any sudden moves and certainly don’t say out loud “I know what you are doing” to them. As you walk around the corner with the feeling of the warm sun on your neck, you start to feel anxious and that feeling is replace with an itch that you just want to scratch; you have to quickly decide on what to do just in case they hit you with the spell. Exit 1: Pure Luck – Just keep walking, you feel confident (and lucky) that the spell will miss you in this large crowd of people Success: (Proceed to Part 2a) Failure: You continue your walk while looking like you are in deep concentration, thinking about how to solve that question, how to cast that spell and why was @Random Professor@ looking so sad. Actually you are thinking of when the spell would actually hit you. Which happens to be now as the spell hits you with a tingling feeling. Result: (Proceed to Part 3) Exit 2: Danger Sense or Awareness – Be ready, you seem to be the only 1st year student who is in their immediate sights. Success: You can feel it, you know it; you can feel the danger as it approaches you. Dodge the spell quick! Result: Unlocks Exit 3, Feeling Alert Failure: You know it is coming, you know it is coming, you know it is……never mind, you realised that the spell has hit you as you feel goose bumps crawling along your skin that you thought was out of fear. Result: (Proceed to Part 3) Exit 3: Athletics Success: You are incredible. You spot the gaps that you can squeeze into, you managed to manoeuvre nimbly and… Result: (Proceed to Part 2a), Acrobatics +1 Failure: You try your best to move around but unfortunately you were not fast enough. You realised that as soon as you registered the feeling of a spell hitting you. Result: (Proceed to Part 3) Part 2a Suddenly you see the spell flying over your head and hits…Philippe Marchant!! YES! The spell missed you! Err…wait, you mean “Poor Philippe” as he screams in embarrassment and runs away wearing nothing more than his underwear and socks. And look, he dropped a wand he was playing around with. Result: Feeling Confident, Gain Random Wand Part 3 Your eyes are closed but you just don’t feel anything happening to yourself. Your arms aren’t stretching to a ridiculous length, you don’t feel as though you are on fire, you don’t feel like running around and spitting in people’s face, you don’t feel yourself growing three tails, a beak and an extra head. You don’t feel any physical changes at all…except for a slight chill in the air. Hang on. You can see your arms that are normally hidden by the sleeves of your robe, and you can see your socks that are normally hidden by your shoes. You can see most of yourself that are normally hidden by clothing. Yes, you are standing in a corridor filled with people on all sides who are now staring, pointing, and laughing at you because YOU are making a fool of yourself standing there in your underclothes. Exit 1: Running – Get out of there quickly! Success: Trying to cover as much as you can with your book, you run as quickly as a well trained stallion. Of course, your motivation is to just get to your room as quickly as possible to put some clothes on without letting your closes friends see you and humiliate you for the rest of the year. Result: Stress +2, Feeling Embarrassed, Running +1 Failure: Covering your face you run as fast as feet would allow as your socks made the floor feel slippery. You only ran a short distance until you fell flat on your face with everyone laughing, making you feel as though everyone in the world has seen you in this very embarrassing state. But it was only the entire school that have heard of this incident and less than half of that who saw you in your very embarrassing state. Which is still a lot of people. Result: Stress +3, Feeling Embarrassed, Vitality -1, Chance of Success decreased Exit 2: Voice – Shout at the top of your lungs, maybe if you are lucky somebody will come to your aid. Success: While covering yourself, you decided that the best course of action is to shout for help. And who better to help than @Random Professor@. With just one look the professor identifies the jokers and orders them to reverse the spell. Unfortunately they don’t know how to reverse the spell and the professor can’t identify the spell and fears that trying to remove it may cause it to be worse. Your face freezes in a very comical expression. The professor decides to give you something to cover up and leads you back to your room. He/ She promises to punish these jokers in a very fitting manner. But you can’t enjoy that thought right now as a hundred pairs of eyes are following you. And the look on your face was just priceless. Result: Stress +1, Feeling embarrassed, Chance of Success increase, Voice +1, Relationship +1 with @Random Professor@ Failure: Hearing you shout out for help, the pranksters (and most of the students in the area) quickly scramble and ran down the corridor before @Random Professor@ finally shows up and find you shouting like a loon, which you currently look like. The professor quickly shuts you up and demands that you put your clothes back on. You explain your situation as best you can (by stumbling and stammering over some of the words) and eventually the professor takes pity on you. He/She leads you back to your room and gives warning stares to students who look at you. But you will still have to live this day down as one of your most embarrassing moments in your young life. Result: Stress +1, Feeling Embarrassed, Chance of Discovery increase. And that’s it. So please offer some constructive advice for me as English is not my native language.
  7. Now i found the problem. A friend of mine was playing around the filter options, in time frame he change it and when i set it back to Show All the topics shown up again. Sorry for that big mess up, i am still a newbie to forums and such Anyways thank you for your help and i really appreciate the quick response. And also thank you for this amazing game no matter what some reviewers say.
  8. No nothing is changing even after i refresh the page. I appreciate you trying to fix the problem though.
  9. Oh and what i mean is that there are no topics at all and with this line "No topics were found. This is either because there are no topics in this forum, or the topics are older than the current age cut-off"
  10. Wow that's fast. Two ways: 1) Below the Forum tabs i click on Writer's Corner 2) At the forum's mainpage i click on Writer's Corner I even tried out the filter options.
  11. I can view the recent topics like Adrian's Now, when i was young but when i navigate to the Writer's corner it showed no topics at all. Please help me with this strange problem. Thank You
  12. This is a good mod and a great idea because any student should know where their own college's common room is or at least pointed out by Oan.
