  1. JJ; First, you will need to be Informed about the Item. Next, you need to have the Ingredients (specific Items called for by the Item in its creation). Warning: the Ingredients only appear in Patch 2. Finally, you need to have an Action which allows you to Artifice. Thereafter, you can use the Action to create that Item. The overall Quality and Worth of the Item is dependent on the Artificing and Finishing Skills the recipe calls for, respectively. Warning: Another Academagian reported a crash when Artificing. So far, I cannot replicate their problem. If you see the issue, let me know immediately, and thanks!
  2. Laclongguan; Study improves your scores on Exams, in combination with your Skill. Each one has its own set of small perks, as well.
  3. Draigh; Your sources are correct- it is in the Insects line. Pendant; Exploration is very random (it can't be directed, apart from your Region). Increasing your Explore Skill only increases the range of the Locations you can find.

  5. Shin; 1) Artifice is causing a crash? Alright, that's very serious. I will pm you. 2) This can occur when you Increase or Expand the dominant Attribute of the Skill, and is expected. 3) Use Item will be corrected in tomorrow's Patch. 4) We are going for collapsible. Thanks!
  6. Shin; You can find your saves under your Profile, in AppData, Roaming (or Local), and then in the Academagia folder.

  10. Coldblood; Thanks for the feedback! We will be continually working to improve the game, the game experience and the UI- and organization is a large part of that. You can glance at the Suggestions & Improvement thread to see some of the ideas we've received to date- one of these is to better improve how Skills are shown to you, as well as some possibilities for filtering. Please feel free to chime in with any suggestions you may have- and glad you enjoy the game!
  11. Mikka; It looks like the main problem here is going to be making Passive Locations more recognizable than Active (you have to use an Ability to Visit them.) Almost all of the ones you mentioned are not in fact Passive, but Active, and give bonuses when you use them. In general the solution here is going to be to give more information about these, so you can easily recognize them. We will try to do this in Content Patch 1 (or maybe one of the Code Patches), but it may be in #2. I went back into the game and I see I was wrong- these two Abilities are in fact 'visit' abilities, and have a Duration of ~5 Days for Ballos and ~6 Days for Godina. Their Descriptions need work. For the other Locations: Academagia: Ballroom Main Stage. This is not a Passive Ability, and lasts 2 Days. Imperial Palace: Mercantile Society Main Office. This is not a Passive Ability, and gives +2 Administration. Hall of the Pages: Correct, +1. The Athletic Fields: -1 Stress. As with Professor Leith, the Abilities you mention give various Passive-like bonuses. Ardica Lake: That is a Passive Ability; simply set your Preparation Location and the bonuses will apply. Merit Abilities: We'll review these in CP1, I think. Glory is indeed a hidden stat. It's also the reason why some players are so successful at impossible Rolls. In regards to Passive Locations not named after their main Location, we agree. In the future, we will try to do this: Passive Abilities will be named after the Location, Active Abilities will not. In regards to telling time: that needs to be standardized, I agree. For Grove of Rocks and Thogrin Sitenka's Study, you can divide those numbers by 6 to determine the number of Days. In this case 3 and ~7. These will be reviewed in CP1 or CP2, towards the end of September or October, respectively. Thank you again for the comments, and please keep them coming.

  14. Mikka; Thanks! In order: 1) This is confusing only because the Description is more correct than most. The passive benefits for preparing at a Location are actually Abilities, so when the Description describes what that passive benefit is, it is actually describing the Location's Ability. 2) This Ability represents the help you might get from the Professor at these Locations, and grants a passive bonus of +1 to several Skills. 3) I agree: this Ability should not be passive. We'll correct this in Content Patch 1. 4) The Description here needs to be corrected (CP1). The answer is +1 Economy, and it is while you are there only (it is passive.) Thank you again!

    Ragbe; No, this is a known issue. The Ability has an incorrect Type set which is preventing its use, and this will be corrected in Content Patch 1. Thanks!
  16. Knightav; Unfortunately no- the system exists (and is in the game), but was pulled from the release about a year ago. It's possible that it will return in a DLC, but it seems more likely that this will be for Year 2. Still, you never know. It's on the list.
  17. Schwarzbart- I think we need to have a mouse over on the Skill which tells you the Maximum. We will look into it. Impet- Because of the way reporting for Skill Steps is handled, it still shows you what you would need to go to 13, instead of telling you that you are at maximum. It's a known issue, although I am not sure when we will be able to correct that.

  19. Impet; They will, on occasion, yes- but it's tied to something they really want to do, and most often occurs if they are 'at war' with someone.
  20. Draigh; Glad to hear it. From our side, we appreciate the enthusiasm.
  21. Draigh; To answer this correctly, I'd need to spend some time on it- unfortunately, I need to prepare for our coding team today. If I have the time, I'll look at this question next week. But for now...you will have to explore. There are many rare Skills, but it's relatively easy to see all the Parents- Gates and Mastery being of course one exception.
