  1. Ah, I'm sorry. As I remembered it, the adventure continued straight away, but I guess I was wrong. I do have A Free Room for the Night available now.
  2. I'd be happy if it was possible to see the creation date of a save game, when loading from the start menu, or maybe sort the save games, so the newest on is on top. It's not very important, really, but it would be nice.
  3. A Reward for a Job Well Done: I know I've done this adventure before, and succeeded at it. Last time, after befriending the guy in the bar, the adventure continued (something to do with a barmaid dropping some steaks on the floor). But in my current game, the adventure ends after I befriend the guy, no matter which method I use. It's pretty strange, and I can't figure out why.
  4. Alright, thanks. Sorry for posting the issue again.
  5. Alright, I'm doing the adventure with Oan that unlocks after doing all of the tutorial sessions. I've managed to find and open the door, and get through the tunnel, and I'm now in the glade on the other side of the tunnel. I'm presented with 3 options: give up (green), look around for something helpfull (black), explore the area (red). Apart from the last 2 being seemingly very similar (and not explicitly saying which skill they're based on, although I'm guessing observation and explore, respectively), the middle one doesn't seem to work. I've tried it several times, and each time I've managed to find some creature, sleeping in a bush, but all that happens is that I get to choose again, without the middle option being available. This is somewhat confusing, since it seems that I succeeded at looking around. I'm not sure if it's a bug, but it does seem like succeeding at the middle option ought to at least unlock a new option, if not bring me to the next part of the adventure.
  6. What's the difference between the regular patches and the content patches? I imagine that the regular type is mainly for bugs, and the ohter type isn't, but who knows.
  7. Thanks. After testing a bit more, I've come to the same conclusion that you mention in that thread. A skill can only level up once per timeslot, and any excess skill steps are lost. I wonder if this is WAD?
  8. Ah, ok, that might be the problem. I'm not sure I really understand the system, to be honest. Although looking at my astrology skills in my current game, they're all at 0 out of 1 skill steps, and I've experienced the problem in this game. Not sure if that means anything, though.
  9. I'm not sure I understand what you mean, sorry. Anyway, what happens is that I study some skill at the library. I'm supposed to get +1 to whatever skill I choose to study, as well as +2 to a random astrology skill, right? Well, I always get the +1 to whatever I skill I choose, but often (maybe always, I'm not sure) I only get +1 to a random astrology skill, instead of the +2 I'm supposed to get.
  10. I've been studying at the library of the mantle of stars for a bit, to increase my astrology skill, and it seems that it sometimes only gives +1 to an astrology skill, even though the report at the end of the day says the skill increased by +2.
  11. Thanks everybody, it makes sense now. Just out of interest, how do I get extra credit? Is there some action for this, or is it through events and such?

    Overprotective

I managed to get Irena Oxina into my clique, which grants overprotective. According to the description, it grants +3 to wrestling and running, +2 to competition and -3 to compete. I'm only a few weeks into the game, so I have almost no athletic skills, having only trained running a bit, so far, but the bonii seems to work. However, my overall athletic skill rose to 9. despite none of the sub-skills being that high. When I trained swimming a few days later, athletics rose to 12. Surely, this is a bug?
  13. I have a question about midterms and exams. I seem to remember having read somewhere on these forums that the result depends solely on the relevant skills and study level. I also seem to recall that the mentor in the game said that a skill level of 5 and a study level of 5 would ensure a score of 50% (although I may be wrong about that). Well, in one of my midterms, I had a skill level of 6 and a study level of 6, but I only got 43%, so how does this work, exactly? Also, I sometimes find it hard to find a specific sub-skill in the skill tree. Would it be possible to put the overall skill that it belongs to in the sub-skill description? Anyway, I'm enjoying the game. Is there any plan for when the next one is out?
