Legate of Mineta
Schwarzbart; It will depend on the final grade percentages- Summer School is open to all, but drop outs will be handled differently. Metis & Free; Let's just say that in early builds, those Students got up to craziness.
freespace2dotcom
"Summer School is open to all" Ooh, do explain summer school! I don't think I considered the possibility that it existed. I blame the setting for making me think so. How much is summer school tuition? This is an avenue I may like to pursue in Y2... Schwarzbart
As far I understand the topic Y2 so far there is no summer school for us at the start of Y2 but its a planed feature for Y3 and later.

freespace2dotcom
Does a fairy really die if someone says they don't believe in them? Does that saying even exist in setting? What effect would clapping have? Does fairy dust allow one to fly? I must know!
Schwarzbart
Free; Essentially, if you would be kicked out, it's a way to improve your grades in marginal cases. Legate of Mineta
Schwarzbart; No, the Praetexta Court is essentially final- they might recommend 'summer school', though. Giovannimx
I'm not sure If this has been asked before but, It is posible that in year 2 will be new students?
Schwarzbart
As far I remember it was mentioned there will be no new students in the initial release of Y2. But thanks to the work of a other player we got some new students added in a DLC of Y1 so it complete possible we will see some new students at a later point. Edit: It was even mentioned we might import our own Y1 students into Y2 as NPC students but I'm not sure if this feature will make it into the final game and how much modding is then still involved in this. Metis
Awesome, but given the difficulty of programming a functional AI and drawing a proper portrait I doubt it'll happen, at least without some modding being required.

Yes beside the AI and picture we also would need a adventure if we would like to have a full worked out NPC.
freespace2dotcom
1. Militaristically speaking, what are the most flexible airships that can deal with wide varieties of problems? Do military warships tend to have at least one mage aboard? 2. Given that the player character does not see the finale of the encounter with the silent lady, can you tell us what happened to the ship? did it explode/'sink'? 3. Are there any good stories about masks associated with illegal magic? Since the vast majority of lore indicates more into the cloaks and uniforms, and mysterious hoods, I just thought I'd ask. 4. So, since Y2 still isn't out, what would you say are the rough spots that still need polishing in order to release it? 5. What is the limit on the ability to Negate death? By that I mean, given how hard it must be already even if the person just died, could a person negate the death of a skeleton that had lain in a tomb for a century? and what effect if any upon success? do they come back as they were when they died? 6. As I am going to be an omnidisciplinarian for the ages, I am curious as to how the other colleges would treat me, as an Aranaz student, at their workshops and other college areas merely trying to pick up the more advanced magics that specialists in one field would never have time to tackle? I know that it isn't uncommon for students to wander about a lot, but outside of classes, what kinds of ways can an 'outsider' learn collegiate skills that would normally be very unusual? 7. Since the full-fledged mages would knew of the illegal magics were mostly left alone when the bans came (if they behaved) Are any known to have continued teaching other subjects at the academy? Or were they just forced into retirement? 8. Is it possible to arrange glamours that can be physically interacted with? Even if only for one person in a limited area? Schwarzbart
@Giovannimx 9. If you can change your college, that mean that other students are going to do it in Y2? - doubtful as I don't think any NPC have build the necessary relationship with the Regent of a other college. If I remember right its also very uncommon in the history that Students changed their college.
Legate of Mineta
Free & Gio; 1. Militaristically speaking, what are the most flexible airships that can deal with wide varieties of problems? Do military warships tend to have at least one mage aboard? Given the age, most military leaders don't consider problems of that nature, or, rather, are happy to arm any ship they can get their hands on. Purpose built military ships tend to be large and for prestige. Most military ships will have a mage- most any ship will have one, if they can be afforded, for speedy propulsion, and lessening the dangers of weather. 2. Given that the player character does not see the finale of the encounter with the silent lady, can you tell us what happened to the ship? did it explode/'sink'? Hmmmm. I'm not sure what the Team will want me to say here. I'll ask. 3. Are there any good stories about masks associated with illegal magic? Since the vast majority of lore indicates more into the cloaks and uniforms, and mysterious hoods, I just thought I'd ask. And *illegal* magic specifically? Not that I recall. 4. So, since Y2 still isn't out, what would you say are the rough spots that still need polishing in order to release it? UI, UI, UI. 5. What is the limit on the ability to Negate death? By that I mean, given how hard it must be already even if the person just died, could a person negate the death of a skeleton that had lain in a tomb for a century? and what effect if any upon success? do they come back as they were when they died? It is 'easiest' immediately after their departure, but in *theory* it's possible for even a centuries-old person. The results have been...grotesque, however, and there are many laws around this, and consent requirements. That will be partly on how the Regent treats you, your social skills, and, of course, how good you are. 7. Since the full-fledged mages would knew of the illegal magics were mostly left alone when the bans came (if they behaved) Are any known to have continued teaching other subjects at the academy? Or were they just forced into retirement? Retirement- the Academagia is far too visible a place for those kinds of teachings. 8. Is it possible to arrange glamours that can be physically interacted with? Even if only for one person in a limited area? Yes, absolutely. 9. If you can change your college, that mean that other students are going to do it in Y2? Not procedurally (at least, not yet!), but there may be some story driven changes... Legate of Mineta
Schwarzbart; 1. It is alright outside of visual view of the city, and outside of prevailing winds. Maritime law is significantly concerned with this, and the laws come from the old Empire. 2. Of Mineta? They have posts, weather cutters and informants at the docks. The fines are lucrative, so they can tempt sailors to break the code of silence. 3. In exceptional cases, such as sieges, yes- but never at the island level. It's not been the case that any army has achieved strategic magical supremacy, except over barbarians. 4. Could not say.
