Schwarzbart;

Yes, although it's more easily found out as the reason (because items rarely have variation in how they cast/emanate.)

Free;

Here you go!

"It's the Mineta Times, but there's some context to note. The Times is politically affiliated with the Captain; it's well funded, distributed for free in many neighborhoods, and the central printing press usually has a sizable Minetan Guard presence to protect it from the city's occasional mob uprisings. The fact that the paper's journalistic practice is the best in town is almost coincidental.
Of course, it doesn't help that the anti-Captain papers are split up among different factions themselves.
The other thing to note is that Mineta is thought to have more printing presses, per capita, than any other city in the world - and it also has a ridiculous number of mages capable of incanting or revising short-lived broadsheets as well. There's a real culture of one-shots and underground (for want of a better word) publications that have huge impact on some issue of the day or some popular feeling, and then just drop off the face of Elumia. It's very dynamic and very hard to predict.
Anyway, as for the Times and the Academagia, the school proper receives thirty copies a day, plus complementary issues whenever a professor has a published article (unless it's Orso, who occasionally uses a pseudonym). Individual students often have their own subscriptions as well.
Incidentally, Rikildis occasionally rounds up as many copies as she can and burns them. She sneers, says the Times makes you stupid and lazy, and then tries to sell you a story about Carmine Sturzo's shopping habits; it's just her way."

Wow, so interesting! :)

I suppose Orsi's pseudonym will have to remain unknown for a later day. Does Rikildis use force or underhanded tactics to acquire the copies of the Times? Or does she only bother with those which she can easily get her hands on? (If I made an effort to collect them for a news archive would I have to worry about her?)

Also, where would one get a look at one of the school's copies? Do the professors hoard most of them?
