1. Are there any people who wind up graduating without any magical skills at all? Just squeezing by on the nonmagical portions.. That would be pretty funny to have that one "Badass Normal" character who despite being incapable of any magic at every turn, would still manage to survive the intrigue, politics, and hazards associated with the school. Maybe just by being connected, or savvy enough. Ana doesn't really count in that regard because she has some ability to cast spells, and it's mostly a luck issue from where I see.

 

2. I assume Cyve has a moon.. Is it like ours in size and color, or something more fantastic?

 

3. How does the Legate of the Academagia get that position? And how long has old Orso been at it?

 

4. If a person was to revise an apple to an orange, would a person receive the nutritional benefits of an apple or orange upon consumption?

 

5. And although I'm on the fence on asking, I feel it vitally important to know. Does magically incanted food generally last long enough to..... poop out?

Possibly, but probably not- as time goes along, tests become more and more magical in nature.

I'm not 100% certain, but I believe it is similar to our own.

The Regents choose the Legate. Orso has been at it for quite some time, although I don't know the exact number of years.

A better way to think about it, especially in light of question #5, is 'upon digestion' the nutritional benefits would be an orange...assuming the spell has not ended and the apple is an orange at that time.

That depends entirely on the Spell. The key factor is digestion, however. If it is digested, it won't revert or disappear.

I know incanting is best for creatiing things out of thin air, but is it not at least theoretically possible to revise, say, a speck of dust into something much more impressive? And if so, at what point does it lose it's feasability to revise something even very temporarily into an object vastly different?

Edit: Found your previous answear about food created via magic (incanted, revised or summoned)so we both where right if that was the answear from the team.

 

Food from all sources can be nourishing to a point, but the duration of its existence needs to be over a day, at least, for it to be nutritional. Mages who attempt to subsist on magically created food alone find that it is never enough, and weeks or months of the diet leads to malnutrition and starvation. The longer the duration of the spell which created it, though, the more nutrition it ultimately has.

 

This has nothing to do with taste, though- which I suppose makes magically created food the ultimate in diet food.

2. How hard would it be to create a giant 1 Ton (or heavier) anvil or weight of some kind with incantation? Is it only complexity that increases difficulty? I assume not, but what is the most amount of something.... Say water, that a mage of respectable talent could produce?

 

3. What magic can alter/change a person's emotions. That is probably primarily a Mastery subject, but I was wondering how another pillar could do that as well, and how does it differ exactly? I remember charming Regent Briardi once so I could [redacted] but I'm not sure what the difference is on this... Very thin line here...

 

4. Have glass harps been invented? Will we see any? (admittedly a glass harp fan...)

I'm not sure what changes were made to Durability, if any (or Repair!) I can't say yet.

It's quite difficult- not only complexity, but mass, too, can be a factor. It's hard to say precisely how much water could be created, on average- it depends on the Spell, the Duration, and your ability to measure!

Glamour can do this (but not as well); the difference lies in how the emotions are changed.

It's cool, but probably not. Glassblowing and the science of sound are probably not advanced enough.

Yes, but since it's easy for a knowledgeable negater to check, such reputations do not last. Where you see this most often is in out-of-the-way communities, which have little or no knowledge of magic.

I imagine most simply switched colleges, but I refer mostly to the year 5s who might not have much knowledge in the other pillars F: Pre-ban, what sort of non-general magic positions did Mastery and Gates wizards have?

The Spell itself determines how it find its target- it's not necessary (unless called for by the Spell) to fling it or anything similar.

The main building is over 2000 years old; everything else is generally more recent, from about 1500 years ago to a few centuries in the past.
