Interface suggestion

Just started playing this today and I don't really mind the layout so much - but I really do not like that the game cannot be windowed. (or if can be then its not obvious how to do so, alt+enter does not do it and setting it in the shortcut is ignored as well)

 

I actually run three monitors and at least it doesn't capture the mouse - but it does complete take over the screen its assigned to. I can force it to minimize, but I can't force it to window.

 

(it would also be nice to be able to scale the game to a specific resolution)

Any idea on when a DPI fix will be implemented? (hopefully patch 18?)

Unfortunately, the DPI fix is a very involved one- I can't say for certain that it will be implemented in Year 1.

 

Making the game client windowed has been requested by another Academagian, and we're looking to see what we can do to accommodate.

Either a way to sort or pickout otions you use a lot or desire....

Or move items to a not currently interested area to reduce the time it takes to locate the actions/spells you want faster.

 

Someway to prune the options until grafted back in by the player perhaps.

We've seen a range of suggestions to solve that issue, although we're not sure which ones we can implement in Year 1 yet. Still, it's a good suggestion, and something we are actively looking into.
