OWD Posted December 12, 2011 Report Share Posted December 12, 2011 Occasionally, usually when I use the Emperor Sphinx, I gain a skill step in an ability that doesn't reflect what I have. For instance, during Pelia's adventure, I gained a skill step in the "Befriend" skill after I took the befriend option in her path at the beginning (which shouldn't work, since Befriend is a parent skill). I also just received a skill step in Voice from the Sphinx, and it shows the skill is at level 2 when I click on it. Yet, when I look at my voice skill, I'm at level nine! I reloaded a save from right before that, and it confirmed that my actual voice skill didn't receive any skill steps. Any idea what's going on here? There is a known bug that Random Skills sometimes give Points for Research Topics. I.e. Befriend is a Research Topic ans so I am very sure the Adventure gave you a step in this Research Topic and not for any Skills. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
