hild
I was wondering if it was possible to play academagia with the larger font size option since that option helps immensely on surface pro tablets?
Legate of Mineta
hild; The Story Text can be scaled larger, I believe with Ctrl and +. Unfortunately, however, that's the only text that can be. The issue is corrected in Y2, where the whole UI scales, but Y1 is limited.
pianomaestra
I actually have the opposite problem--by some bizarre mangling of the keyboard on my part (I don't even remember how), the font suddenly became larger. But I can't get it to its original size, even by using Ctrl - or Ctrl 0. Is there something else I could try?
Legate of Mineta
pianomaestra; Hmmm, we haven't seen this issue- that's odd! Ctrl and - should reduce the font size, unless the problem is in your default text size- are you seeing the text for Action Confirmation off the right, outside of the normal box? pianomaestra
Nope. The only text that was affected is the text in adventures, events, and in the information on the sidebar (as in, information about lore, about students, etc). The interface itself is completely normal. The game still works fine, so it's not a huge issue--just an aesthetic one, really.
Legate of Mineta
pianomaestra; That is really strange- we haven't seen anything that will cause the text to remain large size! The problem might be my memory- here is what the readme says about hotkeys: +/- on the Numpad increases/decreases Font Size ...try that, and let us know. Thanks! pianomaestra
Thought I'd just pop my head back in (two years later oh god) to say that the issue was resolved. Turns out the thing affecting font size was my arrow keys, of all things. Probably something wonky on my laptop's end. You know, just in case you were lying awake in bed these two years asking yourself "why? Why?!!"
Legate of Mineta
pianomaestra; Haha! Actually, it is always good to know. Glad it worked out!
