We know the starting nations including the minors. I think we can exclude much of that list. I'll also note that the list is not complete for the nations we have in 39.

Not sure if this can be mentioned or not, even for being WIP & such, yet I'll ask away anyways.

Staring at my KanColle expediton list I re-realized that the maps are divided into different regions. I'm seeing shipyard, tropical, artic, mountain, & lake type. Curious if the UI for combat shall have these sorts of themes in them also, more so in combat. If we'll see tropical & arctic related conditions. It has been noted we'll have to plan for Fog/Mist related conditions, and I'm not sure about the weather in itself. Everything has been forgotten while trying to recall everything.

I'm trying to 'predict' (or expect) how the battles could play out with some realism in mind. Makes me wonder if our Belles would have to be modified to fight in warmer & cooler climater, similar to how you build ships for the Atlantic & pacific. HMCS Haida & the gang were having their tropical assets being added onto them before the Japanese to surrender so I'm also noting that.

I think there is, given what I saw in the Kickstarter video.

Will you be taking design suggestions for future ship designs in the series, such as the '40s Belles? I have a few suggestions for Bismarck and Tirpitz after watching some rather in depth documentaries today for research.

Edited for Bad Nel grammer and spelling tm

Fifrein;

Completely not. :)

Nel & Ninjapacman;

The more suggestions the merrier, as long as your suggestions don't rely on proprietary matierals, and you expect that the Team is likely to change them. In general, we'd love to hear from you, though. :)

Of course. Most of my suggestions will be generalized ideas for the two of them based on their history and service as well as the Mythos around them.

As long as she doesn't have a weird, unnatural voice, and doesn't look REALLY gimmicky like the stupid chinese kancolle version, I leave her to your dev crews' discretion with great expectations. Half the american voices sound good (lex and Mahan) and half sound odd (Henley's a bit too nasally and the last part of Stewart's reel where it sounds a bit like she's trying too hard to be enthusiastic but is really being sarcastic), so I'm hoping for the best there. No offense to the voice actors of course, they did a wonderful job. I've just found american english voice acting throughout history, genres, and mediums to be somewhat lackluster compared to other languages.

Besides, my biggest suggestion wouldn't be immediately obvious as a physical or measurable characteristic. It would just be to keep in mind that all of her accidents were in fact accidents, noone was notably injured, and when she sank: NOT A SINGLE CREW MEMBER WENT DOWN WITH HER. She also shot down a good 30 planes(more than many capital ships, including the Salt Lake City and Iowa, to name a few). In short, I just want her to be remembered more for the good than laughed at for the bad (which caused no damage to anything but the wallets of the government).

I hope shipgirl suggestions are also allowed. Because if they are, I want the 1942 batch to include destroyer Hatsuzuki. Ask me on the history thread and I'll give you my reasoning.

I've been wondering about some of the Belles.

Six Warships are recognized for having fought in both World Wars and survived to this day.

The surviving vessels that hold the distinction of serving in both World Wars are the Medea, which served both the French Navy and Royal Navy, British Monitor HMS M33, the British Light Cruiser HMS Caroline, Greek Armored Cruiser Georgios Averof, the Drazki a Bulgarian torpedo boat and of course my beloved Texas dreadnought.

It seems to me they should be a bit older and more experienced and maybe make comments like "Well, back in '17..." They have been in large scale wars before.
