Wellington99
I've posted Rodnol before, now here's my idea for Nelsol: HMS Nelson (will refer to herself as Nelsol from time to time) Unlike her sister Rodnol, Nelson is more stern and concerned with the fight at hand rather than glory. Still, she is easily flattered by praise and when not given sufficient praised will be dismayed. She also suffers from mood swings, wanting to be a calm and collected commander, but the desire to be praised can lead her into taking risks, as well as her being built with offensive, aggressive attacking in mind (she has mood swings). She will mention her love of Snow White now and then as her guns were all named after the seven dwarves and Mickey and Minnie Mouse. Also, as famously as Lord Nelson, she has a distrust and a dislike of the French and of French ships. She is teased by her sister Rodnol for always running into mines/tripping up over herself. In terms of appearance, She, Hood, and Rodney being all named after British admirals wear outfits similar to those a British admiral would wear, kind of like how Mahan is designed. I would say that she has short brown hair paired with a buttoned up blue uniform coat with gold buttons and cuffbands, breeches, and white stockings. Sort of similar to Mahan, but with full length breeches instead of white shorts. However the right arm of the coat is cut off from the elbow down and she wears a monocle on her right eye, signifying Lord Admiral Nelsons own loss of his arm and loss of vision in his eye. She is also flying Nelsons famous signal.

Fallschirmjager
I already mentioned this one in the KS chat but I'd like to see the USS Riley, she wasn't commissioned until 1944 so she'll be very late war(Depending on how long this version of WWII goes). She was a Rudderow-class DE(Destroyer Escort) and she survived an air attack by the Germans in the Mediterranean Sea before being transferred to the Pacific theater. She played escort duty during the invasion of the Philippines and the Okinawa campaign where she was supposedly credited with downing more kamikazes than any other ship during the campaign. In 1968 she was transferred over to the Nationalist Chinese Navy renamed Tai Yuan(nicknamed Yang Jr.) and served until at least 1992. For her appearance I think she should have a handheld 40mm Bofors gun due to her anti-air record and maybe add some Chinese elements to her such as her dress. I think her personality should be very protective and caring of other ships since the Riley is an escort after all. Another that would be cool to see is the Portland-class cruiser the USS Indianapolis. She would be around in 1939 since she was commissioned in 1932 but she can be added later. The Indy served throughout the entire war though she is most known for delivering the first atomic bomb to be used on Japan and the sinking following shortly afterwards. I think for her personality she should have trust issues since the USN dropped the ball when distress signals were sent during the sinking and also have a rocky relationship with I-58, the Japanese sub that sank her. The rest of her appearance could be a big Jaws reference such as the use of fishing equipment or shark teeth.
ArcticuKitsu
Alright, I better note this before it slips my mind once again. German Submarine Belles should inspire from U-511 from KanColle with the German uniform, yet turned into an underwater fashion. https://danbooru.donmai.us/posts/2370708 That would be fine for German style also. A more 'casual' take to the wear. Similar styles to other national Belles of the submarine kind. Enjoying Yuu over Ro (same, yet different persona/split personality). Ninjapacman
I would far prefer it if German belles were to wear precise and proper uniforms. The Germans in World War II were quite well known for their class and regulation. They were more strict in procedure than other militaries, and more organized in the field with their uniforms. Legate of Mineta
Ninjapacman; The Kriegsmarine would prefer it, too (and are vocal about it, in game!). Sadly, the Belles have a mind of their own! I should add: *perfect* for future alternate costumes, though.
Dano
That's one thing I'd really love to see for alternate costumes, a unified military uniform costume for each nation.

Fifrein
Sounds like it would be a lot of extra work for your artist, but I'd call it worth it! Love a gal in uniform
Legate of Mineta
Fifrein; I am not sure, but I would think that most alternates are more likely to be another artist, working complementarily. We'll see!
Fallschirmjager
Maybe different national outfits, so for example you're running as France but have a Polish Belle you can put her in a French uniform. I think that would be kind of neat, especially if they lost their countries.

Luxey
After Sept. 1 1939 eh? >:3 Let's see... -Enterprise and Yorktown kind HAVE TO be included... Two of the more famous USN carriers... Hornet as well, maybe with her carrying a model of a B-25 bomber with her as a reminder of the Doolittle raid... -One I really want to see is Graf Zeppelin~ She might be tough to consider as 'completed', but she was technically launched by the time the war started, and would have been operationally finished by mid-1940... (Damn you Germany for all those production delays/gear rerouting!!) -I don't really know of many British/Polish/Italian/Turkish/Russian ships to add also... I'm trying to keep it to actually built designs that really aren't copies of other nations ships... I'm sure England's later battleship/carrier designs will make it in! -Please tell me HMS Campbeltown will be around~ Would love to hear her thoughts on having been used as a massive ship-bomb to destroy the gates at the Normandie dry dock... (Her original name prior to RN service was USS Buchanan~ Buchanan would be around already, since she was operating since 1919) -The soviet submarine S-13 would be an interesting one, simply because of her involvement in the "largest loss of life in a single ship sinking"... She was commissioned in 1941, so I think she fits into that year category, despite her launch in 1939... I can't think of any other notable ships... But, I know these few have some interesting/historic stories~ (I'm also crap at thinking of art designs... Feel free to come up with what any of these possible Belles would wear, since the best I can think of is military uniforms of their country with a few personal additions) (Also, I know that Enterprise/Yorktown were around pre-Sept. 1939, but we haven't seen/heard anything about them~)
Historynerd
After 1939 for Italy things get a bit dicey... it was concluded that in wartime her industrial base, resources and economy would make it impossible to build any ship bigger than a destroyer, and that's what happened; only destroyers (and few of them) and minor ships were built from scratch, the others had been begun earlier. Well, let's see what we have for ships completed after 1939. - All the Littorio-class battleships (in 1940 Littorio and Vittorio Veneto, in 1942 Roma, while the Impero would have been lucky to be completed in 1944). - The Capitani Romani-class light cruisers (of which six were suspended when Italy joined the war in 1940, and the other six only three were completed, with one other close to completion when the Armistice was signed) - The second series of the Soldati-class and all the Comandanti Medaglie d'Oro-class destroyers (none of the latter was completed, though). - Maybe the two small anti-air cruisers Etna and Vesuvio (again, not completed). And... that's it.

Wellington99
Managed to finish my thoughts on HMS Manchester's design. "Surprise", it's difficult to make up a personality and try and design a look for a ship that isn't as famous as others (Rodnol, Nelsol, her sister Belfast). I will also say that I did kinda listen to Wonderwall on repeat while writing it out (I usually like listening to a song or songs that get me into the mindset, in this case the Madchester sound), and it did kind of help inspire the design of her. HMS Manchester is a bit of a troublemaker. With her short yet active real life career, she is quite the scrappy Belle, and usually gets herself in over her head. She embodies the working class Mancunian, being informal when talking to other Belles and even when talking to her captain. She, of course, speaks with a Manchester accent, and uses some sayings that Mancunians are heard to be saying such as “That’s minging that is” (unpleasant) and “I'm so buzzin’” (extremely happy). As for appearance, Manchester is a tomboy, more so than Bulldog. She wears a grey flat cap, a white shirt with a grey vest over top, and a skirt. Her hair is short and dark red, and has blue eyes. In her right hand, she wields a cricket bat, emphasizing her pension for troublemaking.
