Procyon
http://www.crunchyroll.com/anime-news/2017/03/27/funimation-announces-kancolle-anime-english-dub-leads Hello! Apparently a Kantai Collection dub has been announced by Funimation. I thought this would be interesting news since Kantai Collection is kind of the inspiration for Victory Belles...and a few Victory Belles voice actors are going to be in the dub. So far... Jintsuu is voiced by Natalie Hoover - the voice of the sandwich-loving Henley I don't know if these other dub actresses are going to be connected to Victory Belles...but here are the pictures they released so far with voice actor information: https://pbs.twimg.com/media/C7-EEceVYAEAPOa.jpg - Main cast https://pbs.twimg.com/media/C8B0W5AU8AA7L3b.jpg - Sendai sisters
Mignonette
Uuuugh, they should've left the memes off the introductions. XD
Procyon
Uuuugh, they should've left the memes off the introductions. XD I'm just wondering if they're going to make dub Yuudachi say Poi all the time. I mean...isn't the word Poi kinda a substitute for the word Like? It would make sense since it would turn Yuudachi into a valley-girl.
MECHANACORE
Meh. I guess I'll make a pre-order just because boat waifus.
PizzaRocket
Oh, I guess they fixed that error... at least I think it was an error. First time I heard of this was from Death Usagi's facebook page and back then the "main cast" of destroyers had Yuudachi as a "Yuudachi class" XD If nothing else it should be entertaining how this gets adapted... it's not the first time what conventional wisdom would deem "outlandish" or bizarre anime was dubbed (I'm looking at you Strike Witches!) but I know that I'm not in any particular rush to try to explain how boat girls work to most people. PizzaRocket
Not dub news, but thanks to a deal with crunchyroll the anime can be streamed on steam now too, $0.49 per episode, so about $6 for the whole series: http://store.steampowered.com/app/600890/
MECHANACORE
Steam had me at a tenth of the price (got all episodes for $4.08) of the DVD/Blu-Ray Set and less than CR subscription. Yeah it would be nice to have the box set, maybe I will splurge for it one day, but I will be content with steam stream.
Arrngrim
a few Victory Belles voice actors are going to be in the dub That's interesting, I didn't know that! Very cool! And yes, I believe Steam had a sale this weekend (dunno if it's still on-going) for buying some of the Crunchyroll anime on Steam at a deep discount. For my fellow waifu hunters, I recommend Seiren (still not quite as good as Amagami imho) and Demi-chan wa Kataritai (less waifu in this one, but it's darn cute!) Dschuncks
Demi-chan is fantastic. This has been a good season for comedy anime. Kobayashi-san and Konosuba 2 are great as well. Megumin=Best Girl, fight me

DrYuriMom
Okay, I'll bite. Why would someone pay for individual episodes of anime to stream on steam rather than subscribe to Cruchyroll?
