Rhialto
@Legate of Mineta: Is there a memory associated with meeting the queen of fays/successfully completing the Dance of Fools event?
Legate of Mineta
Not a memory, but yes, the game 'knows' if you have done this.
Rhialto
@Legate of Mineta: could whether a player could, during Y1, use the ability “Hang out with Oan” be used as a trigger? I am asking because that ability is tied to Oan's seeing the PC as a friend rather than as merely a mentee.
Metis
Getting the ability is tied to successfully completing Oan's adventure, so if not directly I'm sure it could be used indirectly.
Legate of Mineta
In Y1 you'd have to approach it as Metis suggests.
Rhialto
@Legate of Mineta: Would it be possible in Y2 to write an adventure in which there would be a stage that only comes up with certain conditions?
Legate of Mineta
Rhi; Yes.
Rhialto
@Legate of Mineta: Would it be possible to have an adventure with multiple possible ways to access its climactic/important parts, with each way having its own set of stages? Something similar was done with Y1's main adventure (Ilaro's adventure could lead the PC to Orsi's adventure if the PC made a certain choice), if I understand right. Schwarzbart
I think its possible in year 2 because the team already managed to split the wand-crafting adventure for year 1 so that people that have the weed be able to join it in a later stage. Initial only people in the botany class could do it.

Rhialto
@Legate of Mineta: Would it be possible to have, as a trigger for an adventure to be playable, the requirement that the PC have a certain item equipped? What about for a form of an adventure stage?

Legate of Mineta
It can, yes.
Schwarzbart
using an investigation as middle step even year 1 could do (condition 1 and condition 2) or condition
Metis
What Y1 can't do is have that on stage 0 of an adventure, though. Well, not gracefully at least.
Rhialto
@Legate of Mineta: I am thinking of writing a scene that would auto-trigger if the PC has a memory and reaches a certain relationship level with a character. Would this be possible?
Legate of Mineta
Auto-trigger? Yes, but it's pretty difficult to accomplish. Very manual.

Rhialto
@Legate of Mineta: Is it possible to have an adventure that can only occur in a certain time slot during a day (such as during the evening)?
Rhialto
@Legate of Mineta: Is it possible to have the fact that the PC's Birthday is earlier or later than an NPC student's birthday as a variable?
Legate of Mineta
Rhi; 1) Yes, on the time of day. 2) No. At least, I couldn't think of way to do it.
