Did Bond go away? My familiar still has it listed in its skills, but when I try to train familiar (three separate times) the Bond parent skill is not there. The trainable abilities go from Blackmail to Botony. Does the familiar need to have its Familiar Kinship raised also? I don't remember doing this before. My character has a 3 in Familiar Kinship. She's also had the familiar adventure with her mentor.

And, heck, I'll ask again. Any chance of keeping the original Adventure names for the entire adventure? It gets confusing if you're running more than one Adv. since new ones pop up all the time. The old, "My adventure is the fourth one down," rule doesn't stay true.

Mumbles;

No, the Bond Skills have not gone away- you should still be able to Train them.

I started a new game and I see that you cannot Train them- this is a bug, and will be closed in Patch 4. My guess is that it was improperly filtered out when we closed the Random Skill issue.

Thanks for reporting this!

Thanks for the quick reply! I thought I'd gone nuts. I'll stick to Pamela until Patch 4.

No, far from it- what's happened is that the Backgrounds are resolved in order. So, at the start of the game, you have Pamela as your Familiar. When you get to that option, you choose it and the Effects are applied to her. Then, later, you choose another Familiar which replaces her- and you never see the Bond expansion.

In Content Patch 2, we'll correct this, so you select your Familiar first and *then* all Backgrounds which modify it.

Sorry. I wasn't very clear. I meant I'd stick with Pamela since I don't spend a character point on her. ;)

That piddly 1 stress? Nuuuuuh~ I use it for the transport subskill mostly

No, I mean the phemes that can relieve your stress that you can add to spells and cast anywhere, or some certain locations can relieve lots of stress (and teach skills) in return for some pims.

I must say this patch3 force me to use rest more often in the early stage. We simply dont know enough spells and phemes, so it's a 2 Work Until You Drop and Rest. boy, I work my lovely hard.

Actually, there is an exploit with rest that you can use weekends/holidays (or workdays, if you skip class a lot): start the day with max stress, perform 2 stressful actions, then rest. No penalties/sickness will be applied because your stress will restore immediately!

You can Work Till You Drop on Thursday and Friday nights, start saturday with 4 stress, Run a Potentially Crippling Training Route on morning and evening, then rest at night. Although this should spike your stress to 12, it doesn't. Enjoy your sunday =)

And what;s the deal with Runs. How can we get that fitness expand?

Either it's not expanding fitness, or I am in a serious streak of bad luck. Over 20 tries at the Potentially Crippling one (the description says 10% chance to expand attribute) and no luck so far.

I don't know if it's bad luck or just coincidence, but after Patch 3 my chance of success when selecting a blue option at adventures/random events has been consistenly low (way less than 50%).

Black options are surely giving me better odds than blue. Did the color scheme changed in the new patch?
