Recipes/Shops

I have two questions:

 

1) Where do I get recipes for potions, or items, and how can I create them? I have absolutely no clue about that aspect.

 

2) It's not really a question, but the shops and the shop ability definitely need a workover...it's impossible to know what items you can get where

 

I'm really interested in that aspect of the game (brewing, cooking, forging, enspelling), and have created a character who is going in that direction, but currently I feel it's impossible to really pursue that.

You can gain Recipes a wide variety of ways, but the simples is just to take an Item you possess and get Information on it- now, you have the Recipe.

 

I've thought about this very problem, and I think the way we will manage it is to show the Merchants, Catalogs and their Wares in an Informational Window, always accessible.

Thanks, that sounds very good I'm trying to earn a huge amount of money, but that was restricted up to now by being unable to produce anything to sell
