How to decrease Chance of Discovery?

What things can we do to reduce the chances of getting caught?

Predatory Prowl is a passive skill that gives decreases the chance of discovery by 1%. The wiki might know where it comes from- it's either raising Mammals, or raising Zoology itself, I believe.

Blend into surroundings is an ability that decreases your chances of detection by 3%, only for a single day though. Than there's another ability called wrist flick which gives a 1 in 3 chance of your actions being obscured, which I guess means no one sees you.

I believe they were from the Spy skill set. The parent skill is at 9 and for the sub skills, hide and lock pick are at 6 while lie is at 9. I believe it would be hide you need to increase, if not the parent skill.

Wrist flick should be Sleight of Hand if memory serves, I got it from an adventure skillup though, so no promises.

Ya know, that actually sounds right. If you don't get it from spy than sleight of hand would probably be the right choice.

There also Items i.e. in the Shop unlocked by the Mentor Quest. (Sorry I cant look at moment because I wait for the next Patch to start a new game)

There's two items you can get from Garibaldi's The Dopplerganger ring priced at a most reasonable $224 and the Escape wand for $405. The only other ones I could find at the moment are The Wand of Shadows for $472 and the Cap of Illusions for $716 both from the Catalog of Shadows which I think you gain from the hide skill but it was a while ago that I got it some I'm not sure. They all give a 2% decrease and you can use them all at the same time so that should make it nice a difficult to get caught, have fun trying though.

One of the really high level competition awards in the 'minor bend light' spell. Which IIRC gives a -1% discovery chance.

Scouting 7 (or possibly Patrol 7) will give you the action Creep. -7% Chance of Discovery for two days. Adds one stress.

IIRC, the Aranaz MALLEN-STARRRR adventure will give an Aranaz student who successfully completes it an ability that gives them -1 or -2 to their chance of discovery.

The Walking in Shadows spell reduces the chance of discovery by 15%. You get the spell after the adventure You're Being Watched (if Blackmail is over 2) at the end, if you pick Glamour.
