Lucien
I'd think it would need a wand and beyond the monkey pet I don't know which could actually hold one. I doubt they can use spells, but I may be completely wrong.
Schwarzbart
It is confiremd that a wand is just a helping tool but not absolut necary to cast also why have the Familiear the Category Spells, Phemes and Abilitys if they cant get them. Lucien
When I was training my familiar, I noticed I had the option to train it in any skill that I had unlocked on my character and couldn't train it in the skills I was lacking. For example I could train it in mastery, gates and even dating but I couldn't train it in flirting which is a skill I am lacking.
Legate of Mineta
It is possible for Familiars to cast Spells (although they mostly just help a Wizard cast.) I'll review Familiars -they should gain the Phemes and Spells they learn from Skills, which they can then employ in a Duel- there may be a simple problem with reporting, or it may be that they lack the basic duel actions to use them. Thanks!
