Saluki
When you use the spell Revision of Skills, which attribute gets used when making the substituted roll, the attribute for the skill being replaced or the attribute for the skill used as a replacement? For example if I choose to replace Glamour Spells with Theory of Negation, when in the adventure I choose Glamour Spells am I calculated at Fitness/Theory of Negation or Charm/Theory of Negation? Legate of Mineta
Saluki; In the case of that Spell, the Roll would be: Fitness/Glamour Spells ...you are substituting the Skill.
Saluki
What?!? Really? That doesn't seem right. I just reread the spell and it clearly states "substitute one choice of SUBskill for another choice of SUBskill" In addition, Ive seen the spell at work and if it was just Fitness/Glamour Spells in place of Charm/Glamour Spells I never would have succeeded since my Fitness and Charm were both 5 for all of this particular adventure. Im really confused.
Legate of Mineta
Sorry, I misunderstood your question- the Attribute that is used is the one specified by the Roll, not the Sub-Skill. For instance, if you have a Roll which is: Intelligence + Glamour Spells ...and you use Revision of Skills to exchange Glamour Spells for Revision Spells, your final Roll would look like: Intelligence + Revision Spells
