TeofiloH
Let these forums ring out with the sound of music! Thank you, @Legate of Mineta! (And sorry for not upvoting your post... It seems I'm not allowed to do it yet.) My 13th Victory Belles song is about Mississippi. I loved her character design, being a fan of Gone with the Wind since I was a kid. I wanted to write this one since she made her debut, but while choosing the original song for her was easy, I wasn't sure how to tackle this one... (Usually, it's the other way around, at least for me...) Then I noticed all kinds of accidents follow her. And the song wrote itself. I hope you like it! And if you like my song, you can sing along! Today's Southern Belle Is called Mississippi And her friendly fire Killed her friend Iowa See, that's why Velasco avoids her pastries She's a jinx Such bad luck Wearing a blue crinoline Her turret Blew up twice Just a coincidence A parasol Torpedoes, what a lady Born nineteen Seventeen When a Mississippi Belle Kills forty eight Each time her turret detonates Poor crewmembers She needs a lot of repairs She has twelve blazing fifty cal guns Eight mark ten Dual Purpose guns Teófilo, this Is your 13th song BCS, please Bring Belles to the West Yes, she made An ice sculpt of a magnolia Her mother's name Mrs. Camille McBeath And this ship Fired the very last salvo At the Philippine Sea When a Mississippi Belle Kills forty eight Each time her turret detonates Poor crewmembers She needs a lot of repairs She has twelve blazing fifty cal guns Eight mark ten Dual Purpose guns Teófilo, this Is your 13th song BCS, please Bring Belles to the West (Repeat Chorus) Mississippi Belle Oh Mississippi Belle Mississippi Belle Yeah, yeah oh oh Mississippi girl

TeofiloH
Dear fellow Captains, Here I go again! Sorry for the hiatus. I've been busy working on several projects, but here's a new Victory Belles song! This time, about our newest recruit, RM Lampo. Definitely one of the best designs so far. Plus, her love-hate relationship with Pola is very interesting. Since she's Italian, I thought a legendary Spaghetti Western song was in order. I hope you like it! And if you like my songs, you can sing along! (Lampo) Lampo, you can reach 38 knots (Lampo) Lampo, might be the fastest shipgirl Yes, she crisscrossed wires of The remote control Vickers-Armstrong Poor Mahan She's sweating (Lampo) Lampo, my Velasco is your best friend (Lampo) Lampo, since you met her in Spain 1936 War Was the first time you fought Pola rammed her Remember, Lampo On a naval exercise 1938 Lost two thirds of her crewmembers Was laid Up for repairs Poor Lampo! TeofiloH
HAHA! Ah, I love these- and inspired choice of song! Thank you! Velasco suggested this one because the original Django movie (1966) was filmed in Spain (like many other spaghetti westerns) and you know she's always promoting our country: ¡Todo por la patria! TeofiloH
Dear fellow Captains, I'm here again! Sorry for the delay, but I've been busy working on several things, including a secret project related to Victory Belles. (It will take a loooooong time, maybe months, but when it's finished, it will be awesome. Trust me.) So here's my 15th song! It's dedicated to the most important Belle (even Velasco agrees): The USS Mahan! Voiced by Marissa Lenti, who, as everyone knows, is also our voice casting director. Marissa Lenti is part of Sound Cadence Studio, and I have a big debt of gratitude with them, because they were the ones who made Yangyang Mobile's The Letter voice casting possible. That visual novel casting director is no other than Amber Lee Connors, who also stars in Victory Belles as the USS Arizona. She also worked with Brittany Lauda of HuniePop fame... Although everyone here knows her as USS Boise! I discovered Victory Belles thanks to Amber Lee Connors, and I've never looked back. A 158 people cast is hard enough, but Victory Belles had the added difficulty of an international cast. Sometimes, Miss Lenti hired foreign talents; others are North American or Canadian, but must be fluent in other language (as it happens with Caitlin Glass, Velasco's wonderful voice actress). So hats off to Marissa Lenti for her outstanding work both as an actress and casting director! She deserves a very special song, so I chose one by Meat Loaf. I have a very soft spot for him, and I can't wait to listen his new album on September 16. This song is also a duet with Patti Russo, but let's pretend she's Velasco. Oh! And as can see, the excellent music video proves 24 and Lost happen in the same universe. Finally, for those who wonder who are those Elsie Lovelock and Amanda Lee I mention in the song... They are two wonderful actresses, starring the aforementioned The Letter. But that's not all, they also sing the Opening and Ending themes... Written by yours truly. I told you I've been quite busy lately! I already talked about Amanda in Boise's song, and Elsie... Well, she's cute, she's brunette, she wears glasses... Now you know why I love that construction gal so much. And, with further ado, here's my 15th Victory Belles parody song. I hope you like it! And if you like my songs, you can sing along! Ninjapacman
I do feel that Mahan has done well as the presented apparent main character of the game. She's a very good spokesbelle, and she deserves more love.
TeofiloH
@Legate of Mineta and @Ninjapacman: Thank you so much! Yes, indeed. Mahan is a great Belle, always working for the common good. And as I stated in the song's introduction, I cannot thank Marissa Lenti enough for her magnificent work as a voice actress and casting director. Everything in Victory Belles is great: Gameplay, historical accuracy, character design, sense of humor, Black Chicken Studio's love for the fans, and of course, the Captains' community! The Belles deserve the best VA cast, and thanks to Sound Cadence, they will have it!
TeofiloH
Dear fellow Captains, I'm here again! And just in time to Marissa Lenti's birthday. My last song was about Mahan, so I won't repeat myself, but as a token of appreciation for everything she's done for Victory Belles, I wanted to write another parody song. And since this week marked the debut of another Spanish Belle, the ruthless Canarias, the choice was clear! Special thanks to our benevolent overlords, Black Chicken Studio Games, for being so patient with my comments and suggestions. This song is for you, too! As usual, I tried to squeeze as many technical and historical data I could in one song and, at the same time, I answered one question asked in the KS comments: What happened to Canarias' right earring? Read the song and you will know! (And, as I did before, I made a wish to that orange crystal ball my grandfather gave me in his deathbed... Fingers crossed!) About the original song... It's one of my favorites. I listened to it a lot when I was a kid. I didn't understand the lyrics back then, but now I think it's one of the most powerful hymns to freedom I've ever heard. (And catchy, too!) I hope you like it! And if you like my songs, you can sing along! We have waifus from every country One hundred and fifty eight, plus Morganas This game is made by Black Chicken Studio It doesn't have any hentai at all She had a sister called Baleares Was killed by Libertad and Lepanto Before that battle, Canarias gave her sis Her right ear earring, and then it was lost Oh 16th song, Canarias Song Canarias 16th song, Canarias Lyrics by Teo Let's sing along, Canarias Song, Canarias She was built in El Ferrol Spanish shipgirl is a staunch Carlist Carries eight Vickers, they're light licensed guns Beyond these rifles, for aircraft, she uses three Big twenty milimiters guns Twelve torpedo tubes plus two huge mortars And someday she will have a catapult For now Canarias just play with other Belles A new game they call Salvo Oh 16th song, Canarias 16th song, Canarias 16th song, Canarias Lyrics by Teo Let's sing along, Canarias 16th song, Canarias She was built in El Ferrol She fights por Dios, por la Patria y el Rey She supports Don Javier's claim to throne España lent her two old Nordenfelt guns Her top speed, thirty three knots One day she killed thousands of civilians Her favorite dish, papas arrugadas With mojo sauce, they are hot as flames of hell They're so good for digestion Oh 16th song, Canarias 16th song, Canarias 16th song, Canarias Lyrics by Teo Let's sing along, Canarias 16th song, Canarias She was built in El Ferrol (Repeat chorus) She likes the soft music of the timple She's so ruthless, yet a diplomat The Soviets learnt the hard way she's cold as steel When she sank the Komsomol Sound Cadence Studio, please cast Amanda And, if you can, cast Elsie Lovelock Marissa Lenti, this is your birthday song Written by me, sung by Velasco Oh 16th song, Canarias 16th song, Canarias 16th song, Canarias Lyrics by Teo Let's sing along, Canarias 16th song, Canarias She was built in El Ferrol (Repeat Chorus x2)

TeofiloH
Dear fellow Captains, It's me again! Sorry for the delay, I've recently joined Igrasil Studio (Bloody Chronicles visual novel) as staff member so I'm working on many things at the same time... That doesn't mean I forgot Victory Belles! Here's my 17th song, about Nubian. I love her design, and the fact that she sank Pola is a good source for stories. The original song I chose is from one of my favorite anime series from the 80s... TeofiloH
Hi guys! My 18th Victory Belles parody song is here! I noticed there was a lot of discussion about Pola, and while I'm not her biggest fan (poor Velasco is scared of her since she punched in the face during the Spanish Civil War because she wasn't fascist enough), this game needed a yandere, and here it is! Besides... MAHAN NOSEBLEEDING. My Jedi mind trick is slow, but it's working! The original song is very famous, and I wanted to parody it for a long time, but I couldn't find a character who would fit in any of the games I'm working on... Until now! I hope you like it! And if you like my songs, you can sing along! Shipgirl Pola Made Mahan's nose bleed Shipgirl Pola In July 33 Shipgirl Pola The Gulf of Naples, naval review Benito Mussolini and you Napkin!
