Von-Wulfen
On a first playthrough, is it advantageous to choose one of the options that provide you with pocket money and an allowance during the "What was your family life like" section of character creation? How does lack of these funds impact on my daily life? Will it make my life easier on my first game to have some sort of income from a background or is it possible to make your own cash without it impacting on studies etc? Cheers
dyrhet
It's extremely trivial to get enough money to do whatever you want. There are plenty of adventures that throw out extremely expensive but basically worthless artifacts you can sell.

Many thanks, This will help me save a point for something more important while trying to create my very own Bellatrix Lestrange

Or are some items really helpful for starting students?
Marcus
It's a matter of taste. Personally I never choose those options, abilities are so much more important for me.
