Consolidated Patch 19 and DLC 4

Consolidated Patch 19 and DLC 4 have been released, and can be found here:

 

Content Patch 4.1 has been released, and can be found here. This Content Patch has a small correction for the Compete Action, and is not standalone. To install, replace your Content.mdm file in Academagia/Mods with the one contained in this file.

 

 

Instructions: Copy all files and place into your Academagia install folder (same folder as Academagia.exe). For example: C:\Program Files\Academagia\Mods\Content.mdm (Please overwrite all files.) Begin a new game, checking 'Downfall of Tyrants', to use DLC 4.

 

Before you Install: Patch 19 does not require you to create a new game, but if you wish to have certain fixes, you will need to create a new one. This Patch is cumulative, and contains all previous Content Patches, Code Patches and DLC.

 

This Patch adds these features:

 

1) 6 new Adventures

2) 24 new Events

3) Many new Phemes, Spells and Abilities

4) Over 10 new Items

5) Several new Community Backgrounds

6) A new Avila Skill

 

..and corrects these issues:

 

1) An issue with Favor and Relationships was corrected

2) Style corrections in several Phemes, Abilities, Actions and Spells

3) Court Hairstyles, Courtly Fashion and Perfume Lores now link correctly.

4) Several Study Mastery perks were revised

5) Several Study Perks now correctly affect the intended Relationship

6) Several Item Types were revised

7) Type Miscellenea now by default allows you to Equip 1

8) Some Adventures now have better Continuances

9) Some Adventures had Exits slightly reworked

 

...as well as many typos.

Oh, YAY! I didn't know the DLC 4 was due to be out. Avila was the first character college I rolled, so I'm particularly fond of it. Can't wait to remake my first character and take her through the adventures!

I don't have it off hand, but there were a few that had the incorrect Effect- Increase, instead of Expand. Those were corrected.

Hi there,

 

First of all, I'd like to say I'm really enjoying the game so far. I just bought it on Impulse (the day before the sale, go me ), and I'm just trying to cope with all the options available, creating several characters and just learning the system.

 

Anyway, the new patch downloads really slow for me (less than 1Kb/second), and after a couple of minutes it just stops. It's not my connection, because everything else is working properly. Do you have any plans of making the patch available in some king of download service or in impulse?

Definitely- the Patch for Impulse has been sent out to Stardock, but it usually takes them a few days to make it available on their services. I'm not sure how the Holidays will affect that, though.
