Schwarzbart
Keeping your relationship to here below 1 is the only way to prefent the Adventure to show up. But if you already past the 1st step the Adventure chain only fanish when you finished the Adventure.
Elegant Dreamer
Hi. Finished the game. I really liked it. However, I don't think I got any of the download content. It does say 1.3.0. when I pressed F12, or somehow I missed the Adventures?
Legate of Mineta
Glad you enjoyed it! To use the DLC content, you will need to check it off when you first start a new game. The latest is "Hope's Shield Endures."
Elegant Dreamer
Okay. Um, what happens if there's none listed? Could I accidentally deleted it?
Schwarzbart
Have you put the patch to the right directory so that it overwrite the gamefiles? If you use Vista or Win 7 you maybe even have to delete the files first as mentioned here under Point 3: (I dont have this problems because Overwriting works for me in Win7) http://academagia.invisionzone.com/index.php?showtopic=
Legate of Mineta
Elegant Dreamer; First, you should look inside the Mods sub-folder, inside your Academagia game folder. You should see a file there called 'Content.mdm'. If you do not, that is the reason you do not see any mods listed. You will need to extract the whole Mods sub-folder from the patch and replace the one in your Academagia game folder with it. Then you will be able to use the DLC. Let me know if that solves the issue!
Elegant Dreamer
Okay. I downloaded the latest DLC and looked inside the Mods sub-folder. I see ContentModel.dll, but no Content.mdm. I already deleted the files you mentioned before to make it work, but I noticed two files that are the same as the old ones, which are AMTempFilesCleaner and Hotkeys. Should I delete the old versions of these files as well? Also, I noticed the folder of Patch 28 is still there and all of the contents are still inside the folder. Should I delete them too? Thank you for your time and patience.
Elegant Dreamer
Hooray! I finally got it working! I can see the DLC now! Yay! I am not a moron!

Elegant Dreamer
Hi. So far it's okay, but when I get to the "What have you packed?" section, whatever I pick does not turn up in the knack sack. Am I doing something wrong or missing something?
Adrian
I seem to recall this happening once before for someone, but I can't quite remember the case well enough to find it. Are you sure that you didn't just missclick when you went and chose? or maybe that you ran out of points to 'buy' options for? Other than that I can't come with any real help, sadly. I haven't run into this and I am sad to say that I never paid it much attention when it was answered.
Elegant Dreamer
I actually started a new character, and paid attention that I clicked the right section, and I didn't ran out of points. Still, no item. Thanks for your concern. Let me know if you find anything out.
Legate of Mineta
ED; Hmm, it should appear there, albeit unidentified. What are you selecting during that section? Thanks!
Elegant Dreamer
Family Heirloom.
Adrian
heh, I don't get anything from family heirloom either! Gonna check a few more times, just to be on the safe side. I did however get the points in heraldry... Edit: Tried a few times, no luck any of them. I did try with most of the other items from backgrounds and they seem to work. Legate of Mineta
Thanks! There may be an issue with the Reference Table- we'll close this in DLC 8.

Elegant Dreamer
Um, something weird happened. After I finished one day, my Strength went to 2 to 0. How did that happen?
Schwarzbart
There some posibilitys, you got target of a debuff spell, you got hit from a affliction or a negative Emotion. Or one of your strength boosts is gone and you are already affected for some time from one of the above.
Legate of Mineta
ED; What Schwarzbart wrote is probably correct. You can look for these under Abilities and Emotions, and see the effects of any that might be applied to your Character.

Elegant Dreamer
Finished the game with DLC 7. Still like the game. Have a few small opinions/suggests: -An easier way to make friends. -I would like students/professors pictures to show up (like with Locations), when you Gossip/Befriend/Favor. -Delete/remove Adventures you don't want to do -I would like Improved Familiar Training to be easy to pick up (instead of being purple like Gossip/Befriend.) -Other Cliques should form later in the game. That way you can have students in your Clique before they join another. -Maybe better hints what to Train for Adventures and Holidays Events. -Perhaps a way to access the text from past Adventures/Events, just in case you push Validate Orders too fast (it happened to me a lot). Thank you for your time and patience.
Legate of Mineta
ED; Thanks for the suggestions! We'd like for the pictures to show up, too, but...that's for Year 2, I think. The rest of these are all good suggestions- in particular hints for Holiday Events and the ability to view past Adventures. We'll see how many of these we can squeeze in before Year 2. Thanks again! Elegant Dreamer
Welcome! I hope soon you can Befriend other Students before they join other Cliques. I started a new game and half the people I wanted were already in other Cliques! Oh, I probably missed there on the forum somewhere, but how many people can be in your Clique? Thank you.
Legate of Mineta
ED; There is no limit to the number of Students you may have in your Clique, but because you have to manage everyone's Relationships very carefully, it becomes increasingly difficult to keep everyone together. Students are definitely a friendly bunch, and will quickly form little Cliques of their own, but we are looking at ways to slow that down a bit.
