In speaking with my dad who has the Library of Doom, he pulled out a surprisingly recent book

For Kaigun, evidently it doesn't have the information they're seeking- they have a copy.

 

For Lacroix, a great resource, but still not quite the depth pre-war they are looking for.

If you're looking for enough detail to create mathematical models for simulations, I fear that what you want may only exist in Japanese.

I ran into the same problem when I tried to research it. I couldn't find any sources that weren't Japanese, and I couldn't read the Japanese sources very well.
