We're gamers too, though- we know the value of support, and vowed to do our best with our own game. The bulk of the patch will be a complete rework of the caching system, so that it requires no work in the future for our Players. For example: C:\Program Files\Academagia\Mods\Content.mdm (Please overwrite all files.) Important: You must begin a new game in order to make use of the Content Patch. When you begin a new game, simply check 'Content Package 2' under mods, and proceed. Before you Install: Patch 6 does not require you to create a new game, but if you wish to have certain fixes, you will need to create a new one. This Patch is cumulative with all previous Patches. This Patch adds these features: 1) The Astronomy Research path now has a Lore at Level 9 2) The Beguile Research path now has an Ability at level 10 3) The Listen Research path now has an Ability at level 10 4) The Early Empire Research path now has a Lore at level 9 ...and covers these issues: 1) Window to the Past corrected 2) Athletics Room Ability reviewed 3) "And so invite the Wyrms of ruin..." reviewed 4) Cage of Locusts clarified 5) Description of Improved Familiar Handling...improved 6) Imperial Decree on Parental Fidelity now much more potent 7) Narrow Focus now has better targeting 8) Herald's Whisker is a bit more consistently sized 9) The Graffiti Room at Tertoliod's Observatory now has a much more attainable Prerequisite 10) The Grand Forge of the Academagia now Increases Skills correctly 11) The Defame Action is more useful 12) Date Like You Mean It is more useful 13) The Glow of Victory Description is now more correct 14) The Amulet of Bloody Tears now has an Item Picture 15) The Hypnotize Action is now 100% more useful 16) Certain stages of the Faux Dragon Adventure are no longer timed 17) The Level 10 Skill Perk of Music now correctly expands Music Theory Maximum 18) Familiar Exploits: Town and Familiar reworked 19) Godina Students may now visit their own Common Room without raising the ire of the Instructors 20) Merit Prize XV now has a Description 21) Massage Muscles now has a Description 22) Winning Duels now suppress Hostile Choice behavior for both losing Students and Players 23) Research can now correctly be leveled 24) The Academagia Cache system has been completely refactored for ease of use now and in the future ...as well as many typos. Ranielle Limeleaf Posted September 24, 2010 Report Share Posted September 24, 2010 I'm looking at the improvements since the release version, and thinking that all these improvements ( and more ) will be in Year 2, one should imagine that it has the potential to be legendary. I'm just hoping that you don't have development issues ( read: money problems ) along the way. We take so much for granted with the frequent updates, but I think most of us would find the release version unplayable compared to what we have now.
