Schwarzbart
Be warned this is the unfinished planning of a transfer student for year 2 as I want to have at last one new entry in year 2. What I write here will for sure contain spoiler! Pauline Ritter will join as new Avila student in year 2 because her previous education would be suitable for Vernin or Avila. Appearance: Her sad looking light blue eyes have some kind of shadow over them. On her left cheek she have a clear visible old scar she refuse to cover up. Her weather tanned skin and her large body let her look older then she actual is. Using a red ribbon she have bound together her long smooth blond hair to a ponytail. History: Pauline is the daughter of 2 Vilocian mercenary (not sure what country they can belong to) and because of the contracts of her parents she moved around a lot and stayed more on airships then actual on land. Till it was found out that she had a knack for magic she had to learn skills suitable for a mercenary like Archery, Wrestling or Running from young age on. It was one of the mages of the Mercenary group that realized that she had an attitude for magic and so the mages in the mercenary group, all former students of Contu's School of Incantation, shared the education in Incantation magic. When the group was stationed at the Barony of Thei a young astrologer visit them and told the parents that the Red Wizard of Thei would have an open place to educate Pauline. After some talk with the mages of the mercenary group they agreed that a full time education would be better for Pauline then the part time they could give. In the Red Wizard of Thai Academy she had class in Astrology, Enchant, Forge, Geometry and Arithmetic. Secret History: She also was educated in Mastery at the Academy and during the 1 year she stayed there she managed to learn the terrible secret about the last test to become a real Red Wizard of Thai. In this last test a student have to fight a battle of minds against an other student of the past whos mind is locked in a crystal. The winner will take permanent control of the body will the mind of the loser is locked in the crystal and only can hope to gain an other body in one of the next exam. She was mastered to not talk about this knowledge but she also full aware that thanks to her knowing this secret now she probably will get a difficult opponent once her time for the test comes. As of her nature she chose to fight her fate and managed to convince her parents that the higher Tuition of Academagia should be worth it. Called by the Headmaster of the Red Wizard of Thei, short after she made the arrangements, she learn that she cant avoid the final test of this Academy just by running away but because he want to give her a fair chance he offered her to join the summer school and tell her about a good library near Academagia. Plans: She will join the summer school of Red Wizard of Thei beside learning at Avila. Also she is trying to get stronger trough using foul-play at competitions. But unless she get some help she wont make her final test at the Red Wizard of Thei what means she wont join year 5. To do: Rewards for study of the 2 non Academagia class. Schwarzbart
I think about to replace the Forge class with a Crafting class where the students had the choice of 4 SS belonging to Forge, Engineering and Calligraphy (without Orthography and Forgery) as focus. For Pauline it would then Architecture, Carpentry, Drafting and Ink Compounds as main skills while she also get minor knowledge of the other skills in this 3 SS. (That go better along with the idea that the school have enough teacher for practical crafting skills but is lacking Professor with Magic knowledge)
Schwarzbart
Because the "Red Wizard of Thei" made it into a official background the player could spend year 3 and 4 (maybe even year 5) with her in the summer school.

Schwarzbart
Its doubtful that she will make it into the initial release but I think chances are not small that she will get into one of the early DLC.
Rhialto
May I take the liberty of copy-editing your write-up about her? I see numerous errors in the English language.
Schwarzbart
Its actual not finished but on hold because without deeper knowledge of year 2 its problematic to actual write the necessary statistics for the start. Still I don't mind if you fix what is currently written here.

In the Purple Wizards of Thei Academy she had classes in Astrology, Enchant, Forge, Geometry, and Arithmetic. Secret History: She also was educated in Mastery at the Academy and during the 1 year she stayed there she managed to learn the terrible secret about the last test to become a full Purple Wizard of Thei. In this last test, a student has to fight a battle of minds against another student of the past whose mind is locked within a crystal. Schwarzbart
@Rhialto Hmm why did you change Mercenary Group to company? The meaning of both are quite different. a mercenary group is just that a nearly fixed number of members that is moving from employment to employment while a company like the Elemental Warriors change the member more regular. It becomes even more clear in long time of peace while a group might become pirates or other criminal to survive a company just kick out the to much in member. Rhialto
@Schwarzbart: In English, the term Company, when applied to a military unit, suggests greater formality. Thus, many mercenary groups of great reputation, both fictional and historical, are in English called companies. Thus, there was in Medieval Europe the Catalan Company of mercenaries, and in George R. R. Martin's Song of Ice and Fire/Game of Thrones Series, many mercenary groups are called companies, such as the Golden Company, the Company of the Cat, etc.
