Schwarzbart
The game looks great for the time period it is set in and I'm sure you will tell great Storys in this game but I'm unsure if I will get it as the setting (Earth and then this time -.-) is not my thing. Legate of Mineta
Thanks! It's an interesting time period, for certain, although not to everyone's taste. It's Diesel Punk.
Leoshi
But ... but ... I'm a boy ... But I like the concept and some of the features in 1931 (Yes I'm calling it that) might be perfect for Year 2 And I like the new logo.
Legate of Mineta
Leoshi; We experimented with a few things that might slip into the Year 2 UI, in particular. Mechanics, though, are quite a bit different- much simpler, more focused on Story, as you'll see!
Schwarzbart
Btw. because of the extrem fast pace of this trailer I haved to watch it 2 times to even see some of the more important screens.

Schwarzbart
Will there be some special kind of Black Chicken as in Academagia?
Esper
Ah, this looks fun and I like ren'py games, there are a lots of good ones amongst them.

MadHatt
This is one awesome secret project. I love the time period and the UI looks great. Plus, the game promises good writing and interesting characters. Inspired choice of music as well. I'm rooting for the mummy!
Legate of Mineta
Schwarzbart; Haha, no, no Black Chickens, sadly! We did briefly consider a reference to the Academagia, but I think it was cut, sadly.
Aletea
This looks great! You can definitely see a certain 'style' of things that reminds me of Academagia, such as how the skills appear to operate with the player's choices. It seems like you guys managed to do quite a bit with the ren'py engine! I'm looking forward to it coming out
Legate of Mineta
Aletea; Yeah, the engine was a lot of fun to work with!
Adrian
Honestly, the music, it is WONDERFUL! 'just helping helping an ancient mummy' - I should hope so! I realize that there may not have been as many laws back in the day, but I am pretty sure necrophilia was frowned upon even then... Looks great though
Legate of Mineta
Thanks! We had fun picking out the music for this one- we would have liked to get the actual big band standards of the time, but licensing is a doozy.
Nyaa
My internet died on the day this is revealed. Fate is such a tease. I'm surprise by the new art style, but it's refreshing to experience new design. It certainly have similar layout UI style of academagia with improvements. Mini game looks great and fun while the presentation looks elegantly well design and high budget.
Legate of Mineta
Nyaa; Thanks! That's extremely high praise, coming from the Academagia's mascot.
Command
Thanks for the support everyone! 'just helping helping an ancient mummy' - I should hope so! I realize that there may not have been as many laws back in the day, but I am pretty sure necrophilia was frowned upon even then... Working with Ren'Py was pretty fun and we are proud of our Ren'Py stats - last we checked: Statistics: The game contains 44,369 screens of dialogue. These screens contain a total of 638,954 words, for an average of 14.4 words per screen. The game contains 1,389 menus. It's pretty ambitious in terms of content size for a Ren'Py game
